Are these volunteer positions or paid jobs?
Don't see an appointment for Jackson District Attorney.
$40 bucks per day. You lose money to serve.
He can't make that appointment.
this sheds light on the hundreds of boards , commissions, and administrative agencies created by the legislate so politicians can hand out do nothing jobs to thousands of people . check page 6.....the ireland - mississippi trade board???
check out the ms- ireland trade board page 6 .
what da hell they do? and what does that cost taxpayers? no one seems to know.
Donkeycrat Delbert has been promising to significantly pare back these numerous boards and commissions for 20 years.
I didn’t get appointed to anything. I’m pissed!
Didn't see any Alpha Mu's on the list. KA doesn't mean what it used to eh?
Nothing but a bunch of political favors! Early on in little Kim Jong-Un Reeves’ reign he wanted to abolish all these boards & commissions. Then our dictator realized he could sell these seats for political favors. Now he relishes in the appointments, so much so that he sends them out in a press release! Just like his mentor (Boss Hog Barbour), he’s using these appointments for his own future gain. However, our dictator is missing two fundamental elements-Boss Hog had political strength beyond this poor dump state & he at least had a like ability factor, neither of which our dictator has. Appoint away, oh little one. Unfortunately for you (but great for all of us), your reign of power is coming to a close. Buh-bye.
....and why MS is the most corrupt in the nation.
Do they get a govt. car, badge, and credit card?
Pay for Play. Lil' Trump appointed a higher up from Centene, the company that settled a fraud case with the state for 55 million, to the state board of pharmacy. Centene also happens to be one of the larger donors to Reeve's campaign.
How many of these appointments were made on a napkin at Tico's?
And we still have only seven justices on the MS Supreme Court.
Finding the total number of state government employees is all but impossible the way they are reported. And, then you add appointments which usually have at minimum per diem plus travel. Makes one wonder if government(both state and federal) and their "contracts" aren't our largest " employer" which also is a source of " power" for our legislators. Give it a try KF.
Can Tater even count to 100 without taking off his shoes/socks? Oh wait, he has an accounting degree.
6:45 PM That's the point. They want country club folk who don't need the salary but will steer state funds to their buddies.
Exactly!
