The accused Beth Israel arsonist wants to get out of jail.
Stephen Spencer Pittman filed a motion for bond Friday. The motion argues Pittman is not a flight risk nor a danger to the community. He lacks the means to flee and was injured during the burning of Beth Israel Congregation January 12. The short motion is posted below.
U.S. Magistrate Lakeysha Greer-Isaac will hold a preliminary and bond hearings tomorrow afternoon in U.S. District Court. A federal grand jury indicted Pittman last week for arson.
Federal Public Defender Mike Scott represents the accused.

He will likely get out and be confined to his home.
Noooooooo! He should had thought about that before!
Preliminary hearing if already indicted? Hmmmm.
Spring baseball training is coming up at Coahoma in about nine weeks. Need to be doing some wind-sprints.
I'm certain the state will be happy to hold him in detention if the feds won't.
Not only is he a flight risk, he has demonstrated he is willing to burn himself in his pit bull zeal to hurt Judaism. Jews would not be safe if he is not confined to detention.
The Hinds County jail is unwilling or capable to take care of burn victims, much less the common prisoner.
He is going to be disappointed that he missed out. Nobody is even talking about him on 4chan anymore.
Let him out, keeping him is just for show and political posturing. He is in no shape to go anywhere and won’t.
