Stop being dramatic Kingfish. It couldn’t have happened to you Monday afternoon. Pop’s is only open from 8pm - 4am on Friday and Saturday evenings. It isn’t open at all on Monday.

Speakin' of the decline of South Jackson, Pop's ain't part of it. That place has been a white trash haven for years and it 's great to see it has not changed too much. Keep the faith all is not lost.

Pop's is now a minority business enterprise, lol. It hasn't been white owned in years. It's ground zero for ATVs and dirt bikes every weekend. It's why that young man was hit on Frontage Road in front of Coachlight Inn a while back.

So, does the ambulance service end up writing off these late night runs to the emergency rooms when the feller with the bullet hole cant pay???

The Coachlight has been closed for close to 15 years or so.

Pop is/was a good man that took care of his employees & friends. Not sure who ownes Pop’s now.

Pop’s entertained many a county elected official & LEO/judicial officials for many many years.

All that has to happen is for this tragedy to occur at a bar that is frequented by white people, and all of the sudden, the “show a picture of the shooter” crowd goes silent. It’s almost like you guys believe you are entitled to be treated like you’re special just because you’re white.

Who cares what race the shooter(s) were. Did they have a right to shoot at anyone? Dumb-ass people are the same no matter what race they are.

The only thing that place needed was a trailer park behind it to finish the trash motif.

Imagine knowing the life of a loved one ended in a drunken bar shooting on New Year. I knew 2 guys murdered in South Jackson bars. Many of you here knew them. What a legacy.
