Tripped his way to conviction
Rankin-Madison District Attorney Bubba Bramlett issued the following statement.
Madison and Rankin Counties' District Attorney Bubba Bramlett announced that Tyler Franklin Gorrell, 36, of Brandon, Mississippi, pled guilty to second-degree murder and trafficking in a controlled substance. Gorrell will serve thirty (30) years in prison, day for day, with no possibility of early release. On January 27, 2024, the Brandon Police Department received a call from Gorrell that there had been an accident and his wife, Carri Gorrell, was deceased. During the investigation, law enforcement learned that Gorrell was responsible for his wife’s death. Additionally, the Brandon Police Department discovered that Gorrell was on drugs at the time, and they removed multiple drugs from the home, including a large amount of lysergic acid diethylamide, more commonly known as LSD.“Gorrell engaged in illegal drug use and then took the life of someone whom he vowed to love and protect,” stated District Attorney Bubba Bramlett. “This unacceptable action highlights the grave dangers of drug use and its impact on decision-making. But we are thankful that the thorough investigation by the Brandon Police Department helped ensure that another selfish criminal ended up behind bars where he belongs.”

LSD? Did he have to go to Haight-Ashbury to get it?
Just great, lets legalize all drugs and then there would be no crime.
Appreciate his helping out by not costing the taxpayers more money.
He'll be 66 years old when he gets out unless of course he is stab in jail before hand.
Check out his initial arrest photo
Oh he's going to get stabbed alright. You need to find the picture of the day he was arrested. Looks like a pixie fairy.
This story is not complete without his original booking photo.....

@9:11 AM
I have taken hundreds of doses of LSD in the last 30 and I have never killed anyone. Your personality dictates your trip. Just like being a mean drunk. This guy didn't need LSD to kill his wife.
I thought the same
He had a super crazy temper outside of drugs.
@10:04 AM that appears to be your typical reddit moderator.
Man oh man looking at what 10:04 suggested shed more light on the crazed actions.

My eyes, my eyes! What has been seen can not be unseen! He looks like a Biden cabinet member.
