The Israelis did us a favor in Beirut today. Marines everywhere can rejoice. Fox News reported:
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the death of Fuad Shukr, the Hezbollah commander who was behind a drone strike that killed 12 children and teens over the weekend. Shukr, who was also known as Hajj Mohsin, joined Hezbollah in 1985. He was also sought by the U.S. government over his connection to the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing, which targeted U.S. Marines. Shukr served as a senior adviser to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah at the time of his death. He died in an IDF strike on Tuesday in southern Beirut, Lebanon. Article and video.
Rot in hell, bastard, rot in hell.

Sadly, there are radicals and low information voters in America who will grieve over his desth.
Thank you Israel for saving people’s lives! God Bless Israel!
@6:31 - How many Americans do you honestly think will grieve his death? I’m interested in your number?
Israel needs to keep its foot on the gas and eliminate as many terrorist leaders ASAP. Now is the time to strike back.
Excellent job, IDF.
Probably mayor Lumumba, Obama, Tom head, local college students, Kamala, Jackson free press and a few privileged Belhaven liberals that have kids at st Andrews.
7:09 - It is easy to find the numbers of people who will grieve his death. Get the viewership numbers of PBS, CNN and MSNBC.
Hopefully a small number, but there are many who have been marching and even rioting in support of Hamas, calling for the death of Jews and destruction of Israel. There are significant numbers of Muslims places like Dearborn who are more sympathetic to Hezbollah and Hamas than Israel.
How many? All the idiots who are demonstrating for Hamas plus all the anti-semitic Muslims plus nearly all leftists... It's tens of millions of Americans, unfortunately.
Israel needs to nuke Iran & all these little wars will end.
I really wanted to financially support JJ, but in the last year it appears that KF doesn't know his history or is unable to connect the dots - Israel owns the US and is attempting to destroy it. FACT not opinion.
7:41, you left out AOC, Tlaib, Omar, and the rest of the squad.
Thanks to God for giving Israel Power over those who are trying to destroy Israel,
The Gays For Gaza crowd will be upset. Sadly they don’t understand who they protest in favor of.
Keep up the great work IDF!!
Was it Two for Tuesday?
BEIRUT (AP) — Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran, Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard said early Wednesday, and Hamas blamed Israel for the attack.
Israel has vowed to kill Haniyeh and other leaders of Hamas over the group’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel that killed 1,200 people and saw some 250 others taken hostage.
An Israeli military spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Israel often doesn’t when it comes to assassinations carried out by their Mossad intelligence agency.
Hamas said Haniyeh was killed “in a Zionist airstrike on his residence in Tehran after he participated in the inauguration of Iran’s new president.”

Had the U.S. given up on making this guy pay for the Beirut Marines bombing? How was Israel able to find him a few days after the soccer field atrocity and we couldn't for going on five decades?
The head of the snake is in the target now. Finish the job, Israel.
I remember when this blog used to be about goings on in the Jackson Metro...
While this doesn't bring my brothers killed in Beirut back, yes I am quite happy with the outcome of the attack. Unfortunately, as one or two writers have stated, there will be protest by our own citizens against this. Anti-Semitism has always been here in our country and in my opinion surpasses the racism that some direct toward blacks. Semper Fi Marines.
@8:00 AM
KF is an unapoligetic Zionist.
But you cant be both a Zionist and a Patriotic American. Gentile Zionism is as dumb as the hillbillies with Gadsden Flags and Thin Blue Line bumper stickers. Zionism is the antithesis of American Patriotism and Liberty
Thank you Democrats (Jimmy Carter) for giving us the Iran we know and love today. Sooner or later Iran must be taken out.
@9:43 AM
So you mean Jimmy Carter and the Democrats were responsible for the attocities of the Shah Pahlavi that paved the way for radical islamn to take root as a rebellion to his dictatorship? Because I thought that the CIA and MI6 were responsible for installing and supporting the Shah of Iran. Just like they installed and supported Ferdinand Marcos in the Philippines and Augusto Pinochet in Chile. Brutal disctators are okay as long as they are OUR brutal dictaters, right?
2016 BBC story
10:46, Actually, I think it was giving women the right to vote 15 years prior that initially led Ayatollah Khomeini to call for the Shah's overthrow.
@11:15 AM
Well look how well it has worked for us
@7:41, 7:48, 8:03 There is a fairly large portion of Americans who sympathize with the position Palestinian civilians are in. That does not equate to supporting Hamas, their leadership, or their tactics. I am firmly on Israel’s side of this conflict, but I still recognize that Israel has not always acted honorably. The land grabs as well as the massive number of civilian casualties are difficult for me to defend.
9:38, seems your tin foil hat is on a little too tightly
100% pro Israel. I just wish the Hamas cowards didn't hide behind innocent civilians, especially children. The sad price of war.
For those who are ignorant of history, Hamas are Palestinians, the same group of people who have murdered Americans and hijacked countless airlines. Can you say PLO? Islamic Jihad? Black September Organization? PFLP? PFLP-GC? Abu Nidal? Fatah? Just to name a few.
Brutal disctators [SIC] are okay as long as they are OUR brutal dictaters, right?
That's correct Comrade. We were indispensable to you when you needed us.
Hopefully they used the R9X on this a$$hole.
"Thank you Israel for saving people’s lives! God Bless Israel!"
While it was absolutely necessary to off this scoundrel, in short order, the body count will be a thousand-fold.
God bless Israel, Netanyahu, Israely army, and all Israely people living through this.
Can anyone give us a reason why the people who are in charge and plan the attacks on people should not become a target? There is really no reason for troops to fight each other. The people who decide they want others to fight other people should be the people we blame. If countries started targeting the leaders of countries instead of their troops we would see a sudden drop in the number of wars.
