The husband of the missing Latasha Coleman was killed in a shootout yesterday at the McDowell Road Shell Station in Jackson. However, Mrs. Coleman probably would. not have been missing and presumably killed if not for Hinds County Court Judge Johnny McDaniels.
Latasha Coleman filed domestic and malicious mischief charges against her husband on July 17, 2022. A Jackson municipal court issued a no-contact order against him the next day. Derrick went to her home on July 21 and kicked in the door, violating the no-contact order. Latasha filed more charges against her husband on July 22. Jackson Municipal Court Judge Jeffrey Reynolds ruled on July 25,2022 that Derrick was guilty of violating a no-contact order "related to several domestic violence charges" filed by Latasha. Just to make sure an appellate court judge would get the point, Judge Reynolds stated in his order that Derrick Coleman was an "extreme danger to the victim" and set his appearance bond at $250,000.(KF: Remember July 25, 2022. That date will be very important.) Derrick's attorney, Damon Stevenson, appealed to Hinds County Court in August 2022 and asked Judge Johnny McDaniels to reduce the bond in an emergency motion filed a week later. Judge McDaniels ignored Judge Reynolds and slashed the bond to $50,000. He ordered Derrick to wear a GPS monitor for 270 days "or until the appeal is resolved." He kept the no-contact order in place. However, Judge McDaniels did not order Derrick to get the GPS monitor before he left the courthouse in what can only be described as a fit of judicial laziness. Predictably, Derrick never got the monitor since the responsibility for obtaining the device lay with him. Derrick Coleman did not post his bond Latasha disappeared on July 18, 2023. The worst is feared for Mrs. Coleman.Judge McDaniels revoked Derrick's bond last year when he found out Derrick did not get a GPS monitor nor did he post the bond. He denied Derrick's appeal after holding a hearing in December 2023 and kicked the case back to Judge Reynolds. Reynolds sentenced him to serve six months in the Hinds County jail.
Derrick Coleman served his sentence and was released on June 28, 2024.
Coleman may have murdered his wife but make no mistake, the blood of Latasha Crump Coleman is on the hands of Hinds County Court Judge Johnny McDaniels.
Jackson Municipal Court Judge Jeff Reynolds held a trial and found Derrick violated the no-contact order. He issued a high bond and warned the defendant was "an extreme danger" to his wife. Judge McDaniels, couldn't be bothered with the details and reduced the bond to $50,000. He was too lazy to require Derrick to get the monitor before he left the courthouse as is standard practice in most jurisdictions. Derrick Coleman was able to go his merry way thanks to Judge McDaniels.
It was only a matter of time before something happened to Latasha Coleman and happen something did.
One can say karma was visited upon Derrick Coleman yesterday. Unfortunately, the story of what happened to Latasha Coleman probably died with Derrick Coleman. Meanwhile, her family grieves after being backstabbed by the Hinds County criminal justice system.
Judge McDaniels has blood on his hands.

Check out this MS Today article circa December 6, 2018 on our esteemed Judge McDaniels.

Sounds just like the case of the girl who was recently killed on the coast while a Nashville judge did the same thing.
Judge Johnny McDaniels doing his part to keep crime high in Jackson so those that don’t vote Democrat won’t move into Jackson i.e. Democrats forever keep control of yet another high crime s__t hole city while elite white Democrats keep their silence while living behind gates or the Republican controlled burbs. Crime is a Democrat tactic to keep control of cities.
After seeing that courthouse brawl, this looks like Her family taking matters in their own hands. There are no winners in this, I see her family saying Karma and happy he is dead but it didn't bring them any closer to finding out where she is. Good luck with that.
@11:54
You do realize part of the city of Jackson has Republican Walter Michel and Republican Michael guest as well as republican Ashby Foote representing them don’t you. It’s gerrymandered to put NE Jackson with Madison while clipping out minority areas of ridgeland.
Sorry to say this but voters in Hinds County voted for this, and are getting what they voted for.
I doubt they had anything to do with it. Spoke to a family member. They are scared they will never find out what happened to Latasha now

On the Senate side by Delbert Hosemann who screwed over Republican precincts in Madison County so that NEJax (including his own neighborhood and precinct) could avoid Senate representation by John Horhn.
FACT.
Avoid filling your car up with gas in Jackson if at all possible.
Keep those Democrat votes coming in Johnny. This is what they want.
Low and no bonds.
Street justice is swift and cold hearted.
@2:23 PM - I fixed it for you.
"Avoid going to Jackson if at all possible."
2:47 - "Street justice is swift and cold hearted." Sadly, that's the only justice available to Hinds County residents.
12:45PM, what does State Senator Walter Michel, US House of Rep Michael Guest and Jackson Ward 1 Ashby Foote have to do with Democrats being in the vast majority i.e. controlling cities like Jackson and using crime as a tactic via leftist lovers of crime judges like Judge Johnny McDaniels? You do realize these men have absolutely no control whatsoever over Jackson, right? If not, math courses may be in order.
Re: “gerrymandered,” you do realize both parties do this, right?
After this country gets split up (leftists get half and conservatives get half), I plan to really push hard for a new criminal justice system.
In this situation, Coleman would have been jailed until receiving a speedy trial (no bond). Upon conviction, he would have been given a few days to get his affairs in order and then executed for murder.
No long drawn out legal process. No more of this kind of shit.
9:16 has my vote. I look forward to the Conservative designated portion of our divide nation.
Its like hating people is a new hobby on both sides, so there really is no coexist options left. I will for sure take my chances with the other Red state lands.
