The police chief had a bit of an explosion during a meeting of the Brookhaven Board of Ealdormen this week.
Start at 11:55 in video.
Brookhaven Police Chief Kenny Collins is elected and thus does not answer to the Board. What drew his ire? The two black Ealdormen were not present at the meeting. In an effort to be inclusive, the Board tabled a vote on large salary increase for two veteran police officers for a week. One of the raises was $11,000. An Ealdorman said he was not opposed to the salary increases but wanted the missing Ealdormen present to vote. Needless to say, Chief Collins did not take the tabling too kindly as seen in the video.

Board of Ealdormen - Is Brookhaven in the UK or is this click bait?
Stated at 11:55 in the video and found nothing "explosive"
... or is this click bait?
Why does it matter? Lord have mercy on the people in your life who have to put up with your endless shit.
In Mississippi, this is considered "explosive" - even when someone gets upset for a legitimate reason, they're expected to be quiet...otherwise "conflict" is considered "being difficult" or "inappropriate".
It's the Mississippi expectation of the "niceness" factor.
I watched the entire 31 minutes of video & didn't see Chief Collins get upset, irrate or anything close to "explosive".
Nothing here... move along
The time reference should be 1:55-4:00.
Collins to the alderman: "I don't need to be an alderman because I'm the Chief of Police, buddy. You understand that?"
I think the video description fits.
