Health Department Issues Isolation Order

 Fines and jail time possible

The Mississippi State Department of Health issued the following order.

Finally. Dr. Dobbs doing what he can to protect innocent people from getting this dangerous disease. Guess he had to do it after Tater wouldn’t even issue a mask mandate. Time to put distancing restrictions back on restaurants and gatherings too. The medical system is overwhelmed.

Anonymous said...

Who gave this shister the power to issue fines?????

Anonymous said...

So you get a positive test and have to isolate. If you want the monoclonal infusion as part of your treatment, how to you get it if you must immediately isolate?

Anonymous said...

I don't recognize his authority to issue orders.

Kingfish said...

He has always had the power under state Law. Statute puts him on equal footing w governor in certain areas. He's just always deferred to tate

Anonymous said...

Let this be a warning to anyone who feels ill. Don't get tested or it will open you up to being fined and imprisoned.

Anonymous said...

Japan and Australia have reported record number of cases in the last day. Those are two of the most locked down countries in the world. And they don't test anywhere near the number that America is testing. So the real numbers are much higher. The disease is everywhere. So preach some more lefties. Yes I'm fully Vacinated.

Anonymous said...

He might find out he can fuck right off

Anonymous said...

Now the Health Department needs an armed Law Enforcement department to enforce his orders.
Best thing to do is to never let them take your name and test you.

Anonymous said...

This velvet glove tyranny is why they don’t want us to stockpile arms and provisions.
Tate better slap him down hard. Remove him now and replace him with a trusted MSGOP insider like he did with MDOT. And he needs to strip them of any law enforcement power. We don’t need Dobb’s jackbooted brownshirts kicking in our doors and shooting our pets to enforce quarantines.

Anonymous said...

Doesn’t he realize the spreaders are the undiagnosed or the asymptotic?

I don’t know of a single diagnosed person who didn’t quarantine.

Is he trying to push folks to stop testing? He just basically told everyone that if they don’t have confirmation they are infected, they won’t be fined or jailed.

Book 'em Dr. Dobbs said...

@9:41 AM - that would be the legislature.

Anonymous said...

@9:59 - You would discuss treatment with your doctor. Your doctor might send you to UMMC's parking garage treatment center. How stupid are you?

Anonymous said...

Which side you on?

“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

Anonymous said...

@9:35 AM - As evidenced by many comments here, the covidiots are tolling. We - and virtually everyone else we know - will do what we did last year. We will not eat inside restaurants, attend sporting events, go shopping in stores or mingle with large crowds. Once again, the consumers will vote with their feet and their wallets. If a store or business does not require masks and distancing, then we will not do business with them. Those sloppy, ignorant and uncaring businesses will suffer economically because I don't think Biden is going to send them any more free money like Trump did.

Anonymous said...

@10:52
Nope, you are the smallest of minorities. The majority of Americans are over it. We don't watch the lying media and we wont be bullied by some bureaucrat. Go piss your panties and live in fear. I am going to go live life to the fullest.

Anonymous said...

9:59 here.....I know a number of people that have taken the monoclonal infusion in recent weeks after a positive test. They were all fully vaccinated. Their doctors asked them if they wanted it. They all believe it kept them from being hospitalized. Just stating facts from those that have lived it.

Its all personal choice as to how you deal with this.

Anonymous said...

@10:52a- I assume you meant “trolling.”

Your declaration is a little hilarious! There are just as many on the other side drawing the exact same line in the sand. You two groups of folks are going to wear yourselves out being all righteous. Meanwhile, both sides are destroying already struggling businesses and worsening our already weak economy.

How about EVERYONE use their common sense to protect themselves in any environment. Everything doesn’t have to be an extreme divide!!

Some of these comments conjure an image of moonshine-making hillbillies hiding, scared of gittin’ caught by the tax-collecting gov’ment “revenuers”

Run on down to tractor supply and get your covid meds, since you won't take the vaccine because FREE-DUMB.

I have personal knowledge of what I'm about to post. A police department recently had several officers get infected. All were vaccinated. Only one of the officers chose the antibody treatment. The rest declined. The officer that chose the treatment had one very bad night. 2 days later she was bored, cleaning her house and working in the yard and for all practical purposes she said she felt at least 90%. The remainder are still very very ill.

Anonymous said...

He is delusional. We would be better off if he would quarantine.

Anonymous said...

Probability of being prosecuted, and the amount of the fine and imprisonment, are not nearly high enough.

If a foolish person doesn’t care about getting the vaccination and contracting the illness then why care about a piece of paper ordering isolation? Although common sense is free it costs a lot.

Just for enlightenment for those who think being sick but not tested will get you off the hook:

To be treated when sick for Covid, doctors will test you first. They need to know what they are treating.

If you aren't treated early for the Delta variation, your chances of ending up in a hospital or on a vent or dying are significantly greater.

You will not get the Monoclonal treatment without being tested first.

For those who imagine you can again talk a friend who is a doctor into giving you a prescription for it, may find it not so easy as the treatment takes around 4 hours.

When are in a time where " what you don't know, can kill you" becomes more that an old saying.

Anonymous said...

the majority of posters on this discussion would no doubt opt for horse medicine if positive for Covid.

Anonymous said...

@11:25AM
Never assume, never assume. If the commenter wrote “tolling” then that’s probably what the person meant.
I mean—you can’t imagine a “covidiot” tolling?

Anonymous said...

Good luck enforcing this. Does Dobbs realize this will lead to fewer people with only mild symptoms getting tested?

Anonymous said...

Tate better slap him down hard. Remove him now and replace him ...

He can't replace Dobbs.

Anonymous said...

@12:50pm - This will cause a lot more stupid people to die. I am okay with it at this point.

Anonymous said...

This is what awaits geniuses who won't get vaccinated.

Do your work, Darwin. Thin the herd.

Anonymous said...

@12:50p- What you’re failing to realize is that a large number of people are infected and have NO CLUE because they AREN’T SICK.

THESE are most likely the spreaders… not the sick, diagnosed, and quarantined.

The order is stupid because “diagnosed” people aren’t the ones running the roads.

Anonymous said...

I don't think plausible deniability, due to lack of a test result, will protect anyone from getting very ill from COVID, and possibly dying. Of course, those folks will probably not take it seriously unless and until they, themselves, are at death's door from it.

Anonymous said...

Thank you aDr. Dobb’s!I hope it becomes mandatory for all nursing home workers to be vaccinated too!

Homo Stupus Erectus @1:32 fails to realize that by his own statement the vaccinated and unvaccinated who fail to get early treatment for the Delta variant are in trouble, then touts the vaccine as the remedy. Just "drink plenty of water" and "go to the ER when you cant breathe" as per Dobbs early outpatient treatment protocol and thanks for the vaccine Bill, let it do it's work. Salk wrote about "the survival of the wisest" back in the 70s and identified the very specific purposes for which vaccines would be used. A big shout-out to you too brother Jonas, for the head's up to the wisest.

Folks… If the vaccine isn’t working and people can’t leave to work and make money, the U. S. Constitution is now just a piece of paper. It means nothing when the Democratic Party has power. Everybody better learn how to take care of themselves. This virus is obviously going to take out a lot of people, vaccinated or not.

People with power and people depending on those with power, will soon perish. We don’t realize the magnitude of this historical event, because we’re living in it. We will never know if it was man made, but for civilizations, there hasn’t been much to compare this to. Nobody knows who the hell to believe and since everyone is being so irrational, there’s no one to trust.

Science says the vaccine does not work against whatever variant is now floating around. Maybe Delta, maybe a different virus all together.

I’m vaccinated, but with much hesitation. As I just want to try and do what is best for everyone. But, if people can’t be productive and simply have to rely on the government to issue commands, what is our purpose?

Technology is the double sided dagger that seems to be humanity’s true culprit of demise.

One thing I know, because I have faith…. I’ll see a lot of you in heaven. The rest of you, we’ll, may God have mercy.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that people would grab a tube of horse de-wormer to help cure their Covid. But that is the desperation people feel at the horror show that the media and officials have led us to.

Ivermectin has shown promise in India at effectively curing and ending Covid-19. This information has been blacklisted from the public, instead pushing everyone to order horse paste from online sellers and dose themselves without having a clue what they are doing. This is pitiful and people need to use their brains and be careful what they put into their bodies. There is safe human ivermectin available throughout the world, but again — if there is a medicine that works, we don’t need the lockdowns, vaccines, masks, and control do we….

The government doesn’t easily give up control.

Your second sentence reminds me of when Marjorie Taylor Greene "disavowed" QAnon. She said, "I was allowed to believe things that weren't true."

The media? It's the media's fault that people are stupid?

"Hmm. Normally it would seem smart to take a free vaccine that's the number one way to avoid serious illness from Covid. Still, I've been watching a lot of news lately, so I guess I'll go to the feed store and pay for a toxin to put in my body."

There is absolutely no helping you people. You're just stupid. You're at least self-aware enough to try and blame your stupidity on others, so you've got that going for you.

Anonymous said...

Note to you smug, low-IQ leftists:

Ivermectin has been used in humans for decades and for a broad range of issues, primarily parasite related. The dosage is obviously different as well as the delivery system, but you CAN, in fact use the horse paste if you do the math. It also does improve outcome in case of infection and as a prophylactic, ask India. (You can’t, because you would be booted from Starbucks and your crops burnt.) Many veterinary medications are used for humans as well. Some bodybuilders use horse steroids (Equipoise) with the dose adjusted.

I know you think you are one-upping the “Freedumb, MAGAtard hillbillies”.....butcha yaint.

Has Dobbs once advised the public they they should take D3. It boosts the immune system. Many studies have concluded that hospitalized patients are disproportionately D3 deficient. What's the harm? Yet he's never done this. Ivermectin...several studies throughout the world indicate positive benefits, many competent clinicians report their positive results. The human formulation and dosages are praised for their safety profile. There's no harm and patients can give and will give their informed consent to trying this long ago FDA approved award winning medication. And although I wouldnt sign up for any study concerning the highest maximum tolerable dose, I would readily participate in a study involving already tried and true dosages. If he wants to stop people from guessing dosages of veterinary products, as he should, then free the 'mectin!

I'm surprised Dobbs waited this long to issue his order.

He made it clear that the state constitution gave him that authority last year.
Not too many people took note of the fact.

But now, Dobbs seems to have the "Fauci" syndrome.
He seems to LUV those media cameras.

But anyway, I do wish him luck trying to enforce his "order".

@4:05..., these pro-vaccine slapstick comedians exhibit cult-like behavior. Ivermectin could perhaps benefit them should they contact COVID as we all know now that it is not, in fact, "virtually impossible" to catch COVID as the vaccines were initially marketed. Now they "reduce symptoms and severity" and that's okay, I'm down with that. They dont "prevent" crap though. The use of Ivermectin shouldnt be an either-or proposition. The search for therapeutics including safe, repurposed and inexpensive FDA approved treatments is a honorable pursuit and the drug that fits the bill as of this date, that being Ivermectin, should be tried. We all know the docs face discipline and retribution for prescribing Ivermectin even after the NIH changed its position on Ivermectin from "no" to "we neither recommend for or against". That NIH change of position alone should have "opened the door" for more a more liberal use of Ivermectin. The NIH changed its position the basis of something called evidence. This is not disputable.

FYI @6:08 You must not "follow the science" as MIT, University of Pittsburg and Carnegie Mellon have all unanimously concluded the the vaccine-hesitant are the most highly educated. Going to the feed store is more akin to an act of desperation. Plenty of the vaccinated have been observed roaming the aisles at Tractor Supply. They are the ones purchasing the pour-on for external use only. FYI Horses that cost more than your house are treated regularly with Ivermectin. Since Pfizer, the Gates Foundation and Dr. Dobbs wont let you have any, please be sure and pick up the formulation for internal use, I dont want you to get hurt.

No, they did not, and the schools have issued statements addressing the misrepresentation of what was a pre-print of a paper based upon a study done on data from online polls. The respondents were not vetted and all it indicated was that - based upon online responses - vaccine hesitancy hadn't changed much in certain demographics (again, based upon online responses) during the time period covered by the study. Among those that hadn't changed were those who indicated they had a PhD. Those reporting themselves as the least-educated were the most vaccine-hesitant but the percentage of those with hesitancy had dropped. In simple terms, your claim is absolute bullshit.

What I see in these comments, and what I’ve been seeing for years now, is a total breakdown of trust and respect for authority. That used to be a conservative value. Dobbs is an officer of the state, endowed by our constitution and our statutes, which were adopted by the people, or by representatives of the people, to issue emergency orders in a health emergency. And medical doctors and scientists are educated and accredited by institutions of higher learning and licensing bodies that exist to create professionals we should listen to in times like this. Does that mean that they’ll get everything right? Of course not. Does that mean we should disregard their authority and expertise and wing it with something we read about on the internet? Of course not. You might not want to hear it, and I’m sure many of you will disagree, but this is where the right-wing alternative media ecosystem has been leading us since the 1980s, into a land of complete distrust and paranoia. Now we can’t even count votes, even if it’s Republicans counting them. We can’t trust anyone or anything, and that’s when society starts to break down.

And while I fully support the concept of liberty, let me let you in on a little secret. When the constitution says the state can’t take your life, liberty, or property without due process, if you read it another way, it’s saying that the state CAN in fact take all of those things as long as you afforded a fair process before they are taken. You don’t live in a free-for-all. You never did. That’s anarchy and chaos, and in order for us to live together, we all have to obey the rules.

You all must have missed my posts last year educating you ...

"The human formulation and dosages are praised for their safety profile."

1. Ivermectin is indeed a wonderful drug and is effective for a number of specific human illnesses, but,

2. The dosages for those illnesses are not effective against COVID and there is no - none - substantive research anywhere in the world claiming that it is. The dosages studied for "off label" treatment of COVID are much higher than for the "on label" (and approved) uses. The studies (even in oft-cited India) are very limited and the results aren't particularly compelling when considering the exponential increase in toxicity, and therefore risks and dangers.

In very broad conceptual terms, while it is true that approved dosages of Ivermectin are generally safe and effective for the parasitic illnesses it was developed to treat, those dosages don't do a damned thing for COVID illnesses. Two aspirin tablets is an approved, accepted, effective, and largely (but not universally) safe treatment for headaches. Twenty large bottles of aspirin washed down with a gallon of grain alcohol every hour for about 2 hours will completely relieve the patient of any and all COVID-related conditions...by killing them.

That said, anyone determined to experiment with it for COVID should talk to their doctor and only take what he or she prescribes and you obtain from a pharmacy. If they won't prescribe it and that doesn't tell you something, try other doctors until you find one willing to experiment along with you. Do not take non-human versions of any kind in any amount, obtained from any source.

Anonymous said...

Wheel Watchers, please let it be noted that the NIH made a evidence-based decision and changed it's position on the use of Ivermectin for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 from "no" to "we neither recommend for or against". Dr. Dobbs has openly said the Mississippi State Department of Health will not get between a provider who chooses to prescribe the human-safe formulation of Ivermectin and a patient. Yet people insist he is somehow preventing you from accessing a medication all because he’s giving you the sound advice not to take an Ivermectin formulation intended for animals. You want the dewormer, ask your provider for it. He won’t write it? Ask another doctor until you find one willing to pacify you. But good grief do not take animal medication. And like the order says, stay home if you are positive for covid or assume the likelihood of a penalty. It’s not your right or your freedom to spread contagious, potentially serious illness to other people.

12:20- I suspect that of those two “leaders” had any ability to influence others and truly lead them our State would not be at the bottom of the list when it comes to percent of population inoculated. They have had the mic since the very very beginning and yet, have shown to be ineffective leaders. Is there something we are missing? They rant and threaten and yet they have not improved much of anything.

Seems to me that all they have done is place blame.

Go get your shots. It’s simple. But Dobbs and LouAnn can’t seem to get buy-in from this population. Why is that?

Y’all are willfully, obstinately, happily stupid, and only the grim reaper will change that. It’s incredibly selfish for you morons to clog up the state health system. It’s shameful. The Covid Cult never likes to talk about the death rate in 2020 being the same as always, the 14,000 plus deaths from the “vaccine” that the CDC quietly admitted to, the hundreds of thousands of injuries from the shot or the fact a useless, paper mask that you can smell through can’t stop a virus.

" "What do these creatures get paid, per-post, for insulting, stereotyping, and attempting to frighten, those who do not embrace the Culture of Fear?"

Mostly it’s just frustration that takes the form of humorous contempt for mouth-breathing idiots. When you people would rather ingest bleach, fish tank cleaner, or horse dewormer than take a safe, effective vaccine, everyone is right to point at you and laugh. Y’all are willfully, obstinately, happily stupid, and only the grim reaper will change that. It’s incredibly selfish for you morons to clog up the state health system. It’s shameful. So yeah, ridicule is what you all deserve.
Because you’re all a bunch of QAnon lunatics who’ll believe anything."

I'm the person you quoted. Funny you should mention "mouth-breathing". I had a personal trainer who told me, "You're not a mouth-breather". To her, that was a bad thing. She taught me how to take deep breaths before a particularly strenuous set. And I still do, if I'm trying to get past some sort of weightlifting threshold. So, I suppose that makes me a mouth-breather.

But thanks for lumping me in with the others you're calling all sorts of things. (That makes it a personal insult, which fits within the definition of "Internet Bullying") I found your various insults amusing, though, since they fall so far from the intended mark - or any mark actually existing within what we like to call "The Real world". Are the fine folks paying you to shout-down the legitimate posters here, OK with the extremes to which you've resorted? I'd love a word with your supervisor.

And please don't write "y'all". Those of us who actually are (or were) Mississippians, may SAY it. But we don't WRITE it. The written form is considered trite, tacky, and cringeworthy, now that it's an example of CULTURAL APPROPRIATION.

I adored your gibberish about fish tank cleaner, de-wormer, and bleach! You're so funny! And I'm intrigued with other wacky ASSUMPTIONS you're being paid to broadcast - particularly the assumption that people not buying-into the official, Reigning Coronavirus Orthodoxy, fail to fall-in-line, because they "believe" or "follow" "Fringe Theorists".

First serious thought I gave to the emerging "crisis", was when, in a Mississippi gym, I heard a big, magnificent stud of a surgeon bellowing, "that many people die in a day, ANYWAY!" That was early in 2020.

A day or two later, I was back in Manhattan, when a colleague showed me a screen displaying the official Covid-19 numbers coming in from South Korea (a nation of smart, nice people, whose data I trust). Frankly, I was more concerned with keeping reasonably Kosher, and totally Keto, and needed two pounds of meat, before beginning a three-day fast. I crunched South Korea's numbers, while ordering the duck - with Beluga before and after, for the Omega-3. THE MATH WAS THAT EASY - something to do while multitasking. The virus was nothing noteworthy. No new numbers have dissuaded me. In fact, new analysis of data, by uncorrupted top scientists, has only confirmed my initial opinion.

There are plenty of Americans capable of doing fractions and percentages. That's all it takes. There are plenty of Americans who can and do THINK FOR THEMSELVES.

But back to my initial question, what ARE they paying you for your posts?

I'm Southern born & reared. Not a native Mississippian, but I spent 20 years of my life there. Lived there longer than any other state, and have many, many dear friends there.

They're ashamed of the dewormer-eaters. Of course they're in Madison County, where vax rates are highest, and they take my jokes in a good natured way.

But seriously. What a bunch of freaking retards. You people went international/viral because poison control got overloaded with horse-toxin at the same time your hospitals are over capacity because of the unvaccinated.

Really, and truly...if you lived in another state -- even another Southern state -- and saw that, tell me you wouldn't laugh.

Way to reinforce every stereotype, Magnolia State. I see two movies and a sketch comedy series out of this. Because OWN THE LIBS FOR FREEDUMB!!!!111!!

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
