Wow, first boil water notice this week.
My wife won't even water plants with Jackwater. We have used only filtered water and TX bottled water for 7 +/- years.
Insanity = keep re-electing the same unqualified/incompetent/narcissistic mayor and expect different results.
My Bear Creek water is just fine. Tastes great and lasts a long time.
Shouldn't you just assume you need to always boil Jackson water?
But Ms. Department of Health never said the water is poisonous, so there's no problem.

Isn't Rankin County's new wastewater treatment plant going on line next month? The City of Jackson's Water Department budget is going to take another $3-4M hit.
Imagine using Jackson water for anything besides flushing the toilet.
Also, my Brita water filters all say “for use with biologically safe water” meaning it will make it taste good but wont really filter out the booboo.
I know you can buy way better filters, but I just want folks with a GED diploma to understand that a Brita filter doesn’t make your water safe to drink
Wouldn't it be easier if Jackson just occasionally posted "No need to boil water this week" alerts the two or three times per year that situation occurs?
1:27, soon jackhole will be paying West Stankin Utility to handle jackhole effluent. Not paying full time employees and not having fixed costs associated with effluent treatment and not having to deal with getting one's ass sued constantly by EPA should be an advantageous fiscal offset. And because West Stankin runs a competent effluent treatment facility, the folks downstream will rest better as well. Hell, DEQ may even be able to remove the "no fishing" warnings along the Pearl.
the pig dun run out of lipstick
I just assumed boiling water is part of the daily routine for those that live in Jackson.
Dr. Charles will fix it.
NO water, potholes in the streets, no protection. And we say 4 more years of Chokwe and wonder why things dont get better. Dont have to go visit a third world country we live in one Welcome to Jackson MS

@3:43 Dr. Charles couldn’t close an umbrella.
What happens when you boil a turbid ?
¡El agua en México es más segura para beber que el agua en Jackson!
@ 1:58 - The only thing "Stankin" about Ranking County, is the smell of success.
