What happened in that fatal confrontation in the Bay Park subdivision Monday? Posted below is the video shot by a neighbor. Keep in mind, the video does not show the entire ruckus nor does it show the shooting.

Trollfest '09
Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.
Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).
Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.
Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".
In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.
In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.
Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.
Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!
This is definitely a Beaver production.

Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.
There will be a hugging booth where in exchange for your young son, Frank Melton will give you a loooong hug. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

Stupid people doing stupid things leading to stupid outcomes.
he was definitely afraid for his johnson
1) that world star bs is annoying.
2) rumor has it that there is a restraining order between the black kid and the old white dude.
Stankin Rankinittes. Understand this was over a property line? Looked like round boy provoking big boy. Both need to be charged with Disturbing the Peace or Disorderly Conduct and who shot whom?
kid was walking away and clearly not the aggressor.
honestly though....its not that hard to go through life and not get shot. its fascinating that skill alludes so many.
One does not want to fault the "victim" here but I wonder at the self-confidence of an, let's face it, out of shape 54 year old mixing it up with a 19 year old who seems pulling his weenie with anticipation.
I'm calling it a Malthusian Corrective. The local population has outstripped food resources and those less able to compete go . . . well, extinct.
It is a sad fact that some older people have not yet come to grips with: Most, not all, of these young hood dwellers do not engage in "brawls' anymore, they will settle their disputes with guns. They do not consider the consequences and kill when confronted with physical violence. Obviously this brawler forgot that fact. RIP
Sad is the state of the human race. Sad indeed.
As is usually the case it appears Darwin won in this matter.
10:07 AM Your comment is awarded 1st prize for the YEAR.
Drop the mic & leave the stage.
When keeping it real goes wrong. The beer belly brawler kept asking him to bring it.
What he was tugging at in his sweats was his gun.
That "complex" looks like a good place to leave.
Rumor has it that the witness said the shooter entered his house to retrieve the gun after the fight was broken up.
I am no longer fit nor able, due to old injuries and age, to chase enemy through the bush or get into one on one fights. I am still able to shoot and will at a distance as I did before if the situation calls for it. Otherwise, I watch them walk away.
So, two days days later, Kingfish manages to obtain a copy of the video....which proves nothing, nada. The only thing that matters is witness statements.
The 'tussle' had ended. The boy wasn't satisfied and wanted some white-meat. He got it. Now he'll have a chance to get some more.
Reap what you sow...no winner
to 10:03....please tell us how you go about charging a dead man with a crime. this i got to hear............
If the other way around: riots, race mongers and CNN.
If they had both been wearing masks and keeping 6 feet apart, no one this would’ve happened. Masks save lives.
Person filming and other should be charged as accessories. Why did they not call 911 FIRST?
It matters not who the original aggressor was, what started the confrontation, who escalated it, who was out of shape, who was tugging at his weenie, where Phil Bryant lives, the character of the neighborhood or who could have walked away.
The only thing that matters is that witnesses say the tussle had ended and was over when the boy managed to produce a gun and pump four bullets into the man. Our laws don't allow you to to kill somebody if you're pissed off after a wrestling match in the side yard. A competent prosecutor can easily show that to a Niknar jury.
Once the white man stepped foot on the black man's property, the Castle Doctrine applies. The black man is allowed to defend with deadly force under Mississippi law.
Media reported court matters between the two.
Neighbors tell of persistent probs w/ shooter, his friends, and several residents in that part of Brendalwood.
Re: property lines- those are patiohome size lots comprised of duplexes almost on top of each other, many w/o any fencing. Look at google maps satellite view of Brendalwood Lane.
Those were on North side of Blvd., and guy filming was around corner on Brendalwood bvld pointing due West towards back of those units.
oops. court records now coming out.., 54 year old had the cops called on him
before...
Looked like the white guy had him in a triangle choke.
Who got shot?
7:09 - The winners will be the professional race-baiters who will be quick to liken this conviction, in some way, to a reverse Travon situation.
The low information crowd will not have the mental capacity to look at and absorb the facts. All they will hear (and react to) will be 'Black youth convicted by white justice system for standing his ground'.
check the WAPT news website.
it seems that mr miln was found guilty of trespassing on the shooters lease back in early december 2020, and was fined and put under an order by a rankin county judge to have no contact with mr. douglas.
that video shows him having plenty of contact.
that prior conviction and no contact order is going to have a powerful effect on the outcome of this case , all to the advantage of mr douglas.
This video is literally Mississippi. Dumbass fat white redneck older male and young crotch grabbing black male yute in a dispute over something equally stupid. Instead of having the mental capacity to verbally work out their problems without resorting to insults and violence, someone gets killed. I’m not saying I’ll be missing the Trump voter nor the non-voting democrat, but holy shit this state sucks. Just do like the politicians here: grift as much as you can and then get out to a better state.
The people who will say this young person should go to jail, after being attacked at his own house, would be the same people that would say an officer had the right to shoot the young person if the officer had been there before the gun showed up at the scene. Perplexing.
Bet you a dollar that Milin was tested for Covid at UMC before he passed and they cashed in.
In about 1994 or so, Mr. Miln was hired for a very technical position with a firm I worked with. Mere minutes into his employment it was revealed that he didn't have a clue with what he claimed he knew/could do. He got up in my face trying to provoke me and was summarily fired by my employer. Claimed he'd catch me later on down the road and whip my ass. Next day he pulled the exact same stunt with another similar firm. I'm actually surprised he had lived this long since. Good riddance. If there ever was a piece of shit human being that roamed this planet, it was him.
according to a local news outlet, mr miln had threatened this person and his 13 year old brother with a shovel earlier in the month. and he didn’t go back and get the gun- he probably had it to defend himself from mr miln in the first place.
self defense. even in rankin county.
We probably know that the deceased wife has an attorney who has run the background of the accused for history... has noted who the homeowners/renters may be in this case, along with their insurance carriers (of all property owners) and will certainly be digging into the settlement of out-of-court agreements to resolve this matter. (And, i still think black guy"s too late with the gun.)
Day in which we live.
If only he had shot him one time....he shot the dude 4 times....all over different body parts.
This was a rage murder snd he will go to jail forever
Gilbert....please
to all wanna be homebuyers at the reservoir or anywhere for that matter....................that brendalwood neiborhood where this occurred has literally infected the other neiborhoods around it. for whatever reason when a development is taking place or shaping up in rankin county someone will want to construct and include rental properties and /or rental duplexes in the project. its just ingrained in rankin ''culture''.
such is toxic to property values. if you want to destroy a neiborhood just bring in stinking renters.
before you plop down you hard earned money have an assessment done by someone with expertise in land use and real estate and find out about rules on renting and/ or rental properties within a 1 mile circumference from where you are looking to buy.
most buyers never give this a second thought until its too late. no real estate agent will ever tell you this unless you ask. and even if you ask , they will usually say ''i don't know''. agents just want to make the sale and get on to the next one.
and if you dont believe me, just ask former governor phil bryant whose home is located within 50 yards of the northern edge of this stinking hood called brendalwood .
Phil Bryant no longer lives there...he lives in Hazlehurst.
to 3:29pm......well, i guess we now know why he moved.
@10:13...U B right about Rental % in subdivision. 10% is a red flag. Today is the age of corporate Rental companies. While looking at Homes in an unfamiliar neighborhood, looked at County Tax Maps. Of 4 subdivisions, all next to each other, 1 had 1/3 owned by Rental companies. Foreclosure was almost 25%. I looked at the subdivisions via Google Street Maps 1st. Discovered Google had actually blurred or or pasted over some of the problems there.
The far inland City had been flooded by a hurricane 3 years prior. Quite a lot of subdivision lakes, had dams fail. The houses that didn't get water inside, but ran underneath also developed mold. FEMA wouldn't condemn a home because of mold & the owners insurance wouldn't pay. Many were foreclosed on, including some 1-2 million $$$ homes, sitting vacant because of mold. Then, the Feds bailed out the banks holding the mortgages & took the houses. Many of the homes were given to NGOs & Nonprofits. They in turn sold them for $1.00 to low income new owners(per tax records) on the condition they made minor repairs. Could resell in 5 years.
