The Phalanx vaccine for the Covid-19 virus arrived in Mississippi today. Mississippi State Department of Health officials led by example and got the vaccine. MSDH announced on Facebook:
COVID-19 vaccine has arrived in Mississippi, and is shipping to hospitals and nursing homes now. The vaccine will be used for healthcare workers dealing with COVID-19 patients, and our highly vulnerable older population in nursing home care. We gave our first five vaccinations today to State Health Officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs, State Epidemiologist Dr. Paul Byers, Health Protection Director and Senior Deputy Jim Craig, Sonja Fuqua, RN with the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi, and Dr. Leandro Mena of the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
The agency even provided some pretty little pictures of the event.
However, you can't please everyone and the conspiracy kooks came out of the woodwork for this one. Check out these comments underneath the vaccination photos on Facebook.

You can’t see the end of the syringe (where the needle would be in the muscle) in any of the pictures. I’m not buying it. Perhaps that’s why she’s not wearing gloves; she wasn’t exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
There is no way this is an intramuscular injection. That’s an insulin syringe. Meant to be used for subcutaneous injections

Well.u cant see if the needle is actually going in the arms either and i have never seen a shot given by a professional and they didnt wear gloves and the only time i have seen an insulin needle used to give a shot is when insulin was what was being given so this all looks weird to me

Real or not, Are any of those that took those shots "front line" workers or nursing home residents?? If not, them taking that vaccine before all "front line" nursing home residents and first responders is wrong on so many levels.

Look at the number of DUI arrests compared to the fatal accidents and you'll quickly see the odds of being involved in a fatal crash with a drunk driver is way less than dying from COVID. Yea, and after about June, I don't want to see the daily counts of infections and deaths. By then everyone should have had the opportunity to take the vaccine. If they choose not to, it's on them. No different than running a daily toll of diabetes diagnosis of people who won't stop stuffing candy. At some point you have to live with your decisions, it's not a concern of the state if you refuse to vaccinate.

I don't believe the vaccine is fake, but the distribution plan is bogus. Several first responder agencies are being moved to the bottom of the list so that others who don't provide healthcare or work with the general public, can move up.

The question was asked here a few weeks back "if cases are going up why aren't deaths?" Well, the answer obviously is deaths lag infection by a while, death reports lag even further, and it takes time for the data to show up. Take a look at the current charts on the MSDH website and see mortality has jumped 250% since the end of October with a vast majority being regular citizens and not nursing home residents.
It will continue to rise just like cases and hospitalizations have. We have likely already exceeded the August peak but don't know it yet because of the lag in data. We are right in the middle of the worst period of COVID infection and deaths with months more yet to come, yet people still think it is nothing more than the flu.
I know there is no real hope due to the covidiots, but Christmas celebrations need to be limited to just those already living in your household. Thanksgiving has proven family gatherings outside your immediate family will spread the disease, now it's time to learn from that and make Christmas safe.

Now let's compare that to polio. Only 30% of people who contract polio show symptoms, and of those that do show symptoms 99% of them are minor like headache, fever, sore throat, and muscle pain. In 99.5% of cases the victims recover without incident. 0.5% get seriously ill, and only 0.05% will die. Why in the world did we go balls-out and develop a vaccine for a disease that is only 1/10 as dangerous as COVID? Or to put it another way, why wouldn't we develop a vaccine for COVID-19 when it is ten times more dangerous than polio?
Oh, that's right, Some of us remember grade school math and realize a relatively small percentage of a huge number is still a very large number of people affected. Upwards of 15 million Americans hospitalized and 1.5 million dead is enough to get most people who can think beyond their household door to realize something needs to be done.

8:07 You need to read your own linked article. Nowhere does it say that 8 out of 9 are asymptomatic. It only says 8 out of 9 were not tested. That is a totally different situation. I know of a number of people who had mild symptoms after being exposed to someone with COVID but just stayed isolated and never went to the doctor.
You don't need to be a conspiracy theorist to see that they faked giving the vaccine to these people. Probably to leave the vaccines to the people that need them more, which makes sense. But to fake it, and do such a crap job at faking it, is really a dumb move.
