Our boy Broderick Robinson is back in jail. JPD issued the following press release about the arrest of Broderick Robinson and his brother.
Regular JJ readers may remember Broderick from earlier posts. JJ posted last September:
One of Northeast Jackson's finest is back on the streets. The Mississippi Parole Board sprung Broderick Robinson on September 15. Broderick Robinson pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen firearm in Hinds County Circuit Court on September 1, 2015. However, Judge Winston Kidd remanded two counts of house burglary. Judge Kidd sentenced him to serve five years in prison and two years of supervised probation but suspended two years of the sentence and gave him credit for time served. Robinson is 22 years old. Robinson has a long record of arrests for burglary, drug, and firearms-releated offenses. Earlier post with record.
The question is will the District Attorney notify the court of his felony arrest and try to make him serve the remaining two years of his sentence.

Don't count on it. The DA is too busy holding the jail door open and pointing weaponry at former romantic partners to worry about criminals.
So notified, now revoke those agreements and keep his Omar Little wannabe ass in jail.
Sheet they are afraid of the aclu he will get a pat on the head and out the door he will go.
What great weaponary.
AK47 with high capacity mags.
3 handguns, with high capacity mags.
How can a convicted felon get his hands on this arsenal? Where the federal govt.
in this matter?
Make me feel very unsafe in Jacktown!
And with radical Antaw becoming mayor it's only going to get worse.
He is set for revocation June 19th at 9a.m. in front of Judge Kidd. That's pretty quick work. Thanks DA Smith.. Despite the witch hunt you are still handling business.
The system is rigged against people like Mr. Robinson and all he's trying to do is protect himself against the institutionalized racism present in the recognized economic and criminal justice systems. And because of this, Mr. Robinson has no other choice than to engage in alternative economic and social justice mechanisms to survive.
I love reading Trayvon's comments on JJ solely because the views are so ludicrous. I now think the person behind the name doesn't feel the way they convey. They are just here to ruffle our feathers.

10:14 - ya think? You musta went to one o' them fancy Miss'ippi schools.
10:55: Now how would you know that?
I'm looking at MEC right now and there is no notice of such a hearing filed. The headline of the case says "last filed 6/2/2017" but when you look at the actual docket or history of documents, there is no mention or entry of that date or a corresponding document.
In other words, you must work for the D.A. since you are quoting stuff no one else can see. See Sergeant Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.
So why don't you go do the same thing to Vidal Sullivan?
Kingfish 3:53...
Because I was one of the attorneys asked to represent him at the hearing and I declined.. That's how I would know.
Most of you sound like straight idiots. These fellas have been stealing, killing, shooting, and robbing for years and you have the nerves to justify them having weapons (high power at that). Then others want to try to act like it is only in Jackson. Wake up people! You have nut baskets in Madison, Clinton, and Pearl too. They just their parents money to keep getting out of it. And some of you parents, family members, and friends (which it sounds like some of you are on here) need to stop condoning and covering up that these guys need to be thrown away, They probably was not raised in such a manner, just like other racial background circumstances, but they wanna be hard on the streets. But wait til them bars get a hold of them. That is when they meet reality. Stop promoting ignorance and violence people and try to think of ways, show support, give solutions and help out on correcting the problem. It takes help on all levels and building more prisons is not the answer, so do not try and throw that out there! NEXT!!!!
So I hear that these dudes are back out on the streets again! Is this true and if so, how?
