Just one question about this ad I found on a local bulletin board:
How does one "build" a massage?

much the same process as "building" a following to a blog
From the very first comment, either Cottonmouth or Anderson is still full of "Christmas Cheer." More than likely, Anderson's comes from a bottle of Scotch?

Rub you the wrong way?
Another abuse of our language that raises Ophelia's ever-sensitive hackles. That vodka that advertises itself as "hand-built"---??? So, what---is the word "made" suddenly not good enough? "To build" and 'to make" are NOT interchangeable. In this massage parlor's case, I'm sure they meant to claim that they can customize a massage, but I guess saying they "build" one makes it seem trendier, or snazzier---who knows.
Ophelia, I'm afraid I would never be able to build any trust in your judgment.
The Fondrenites, having built a perception of innocense and safety, march forth ever vigilant, yet unaware, escaping reality.
@11:22a.m., you have built upon built trust. And made it, also.
Massages...hmmmm. Could it mean building to a climax?
If JJ really wanted to build a blog, he could have a Shawn O'Hara Speaks and an Enoch Sanders Speaks ten minute video presentation to discuss local and international issues...i.e, the state of VA health care and the prohibition of guns in the VA hospitals, corruption in the AG's office, the epidemic of AIDS and STD amongst the judiciary, Judge William Coleman, lending practices of Trustmark...the list goes on.
I want whatever Ophelia is having....
OK, Ophelia, does one make a hamburger or pizza? Or does one build a hamburger?
Pugnacious, of course I would opine that one "makes" the foodstuffs mentioned *supra*, but if you want to take a hammer and nails and construct a burger or a pizza, well, you "go ahead on" as they say 'round here. Just chew carefully.
