Homeland Security: a Joke.
A thought crossed my mind yesterday while writing about the George Bell, III case and it should scare the hell out of you.
HOW WAS GEORGE BELL, III ABLE TO GET ON A FLIGHT FROM OKLAHOMA AND FLY TO JACKSON WITH AN OUTSTANDING WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST?
After 9/11 you would think that Homeland Security would have made it impossible for a terrorist with outstanding warrants to get on an airplane.
So much for the "Do not fly list". Now back to frisking Grandma.

I'll tell you how: Because he didn't have an Arab name.
Ethnic profiling stinks as much because of who it DOESN'T catch as much as because of who it does.
I doubt outstanding warrants are entered into the TSA system.
Don't you think they should be?
Of Course!
