MRA posted almost an identical graphic back in early August. I'm sure there are others. It's the new thing. School's are getting ahead of all the wannabe creators and/or NIL promoters on the sidelines.

You can sell your footage and videos to the kids so they can make cool edits and post them on social media. I use to do it back in my football days it is fun

Haven’t seen Flowood put this policy in yet, but they did have a few openings for kindergarten assistants due to the early retirements last year.
I'm glad to see this. I work game security for one of the large metro area teams and I get tired of the freelancers trying to get onto the sidelines and field area.
Did MHSAA send a template to every school in the state? Why are they notices identical? Did MHSAA recommend the fees? I have no issue with schools/districts getting freelancers under control, but seeing they are all using the same form is weird.

Back in the day when I worked for the newspaper I had to have credentials issued by the MHSAA that I had to have on me at all times just to get in the gate and onto the sidelines to take photographs. I cannot believe some of these internet "whatevers" could get their without some type of credentials before now.
Agree, 3:59 - the cheesedicks who come here for news coverage you’ll find nowhere else and then whine about it are annoying. There’s a certain level of irony that they are even here.
Back in my day if you had a camera you could get into any VIP section. Hell, you could even get laid just for having a camera.

Hahaa "Dick Wad'" got me. Help me understand the real issue. I see that first come first serve is ideal so that there are not so many folks down there, but these kids want and need exposure to get to the next step, right? I do not have an excellent camera or seat to get the shots these guys get. I loved having these fantastic shots of my son and daughter on the field last year.
