How dumb can this guy be? Virgi Lindsey did not stop Costco, dumbass. Want to know why? Because she was not elected to the City Council until 2017. The Costco mess took place during Yarber's term. It wouldn't have mattered if she was on the Council or not. The land belonged to the state and the state was not going to allow a Costco to be built in the midst of ballparks and museums. Even your former boss Mayor Lumumba blamed the state.
Once again, Tariq Abdul-Tawwab Skyhook and his friends blame everything on Belhaven and Fondren. They seem to take offense to the people and businesses of these areas voting to assess themselves. Heaven forbid people want to improve the areas where they work and live. Obviously wanting to do so is a clear example of white supremacy. Of course, we are talking about people whose idea of equity is making sure everyone lives in the mud.
Oh, and by the way, Skyhook, your boss, Chokwe Antar Lumumba, supported the creation of the Belhaven Improvement District. What an idiot.

But Virgi Lindsay did most of the damage to us by stopping Costcos and by committing, uh, excuse me, creating business improvement districts in both Broadmoor and Belhaven. She led them to separate from us in the city, right? And then we lost as the rest of the cities.
