Nothing like a good ole pound cake: tasty, fluffy, and easy to make. JJ's Chef Emeritus, ZeroBear PolyBear, serves up his pound cake recipe in a downloadable format posted below. A couple of notes:
1. Try using Mexican vanilla. It improves the flavor (great in shakes, too).
2. What Mr. Bear left out was pound cake batter. Nothing like whipping up a batch of pound cake batter, pouring a glass of milk, and satisfying that sweet tooth craving. You might need a metformin pump but sometimes you have to pick your poison.
