A member of the Simon Royals royalty is now in custody.
The Federal Marshals Task Force arrested David Singley yesterday on outstanding warrants.
A grand jury indicted Singley for aggravated assault and kidnapping in 2019. The indictment charges:
Hinds County deputies arrested Singley on May 20, 2023 and charged him with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, 1.6g of meth, and a Smith and Wesson pistol. Attorney Derek Martin represented Singley. Hinds County Court Judge Johnny McDaniels denied him bond. The defendant was arrested today on these charges and the indictment.
Singley is reputed to be the second in command for the Simon City Royals in Mississippi.
Update: The news gets better. Singley was convicted in Rankin County (Charge unknown) in 2018 and sentenced to serve eight years in prison. He was on parole when he was arrested in May 2023. He was placed on parole again in July 2024. His parole supervision ended in February.

This dude has only been out of prison for a year tops. No pleading his innocence just saying he has been in MDOC custody. Someone screwed up
Justice delayed is justice denied.
For those unaware of what the Simon City Royals are (like me)
The Simon City Royals (also known as the Almighty Simon City Royal Nation or SCR) is a street and prison gang that originated in Chicago in the 1950s as a greaser gang called Simon City, later evolving into the Royals around the late 1960s/early 1970s. It is one of the oldest and largest predominantly white gangs in the United States. While it maintains some presence in Chicago and has spread to other states (like Wisconsin, Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisiana), the gang has grown significantly in the Southern United States, particularly in Mississippi, where it has become one of the most prominent and violent criminal organizations.Key points about the Simon City Royals in Mississippi:It is often described as one of the state's top gangs (frequently ranked as the third-largest criminal street gang), alongside groups like the Gangster Disciples, Vice Lords, and Aryan Brotherhood of Mississippi.
The gang operates both on the streets and as a major force inside the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) prisons, where it controls activities, smuggles contraband, and coordinates crimes.
Members and associates engage in serious criminal activities, including large-scale drug trafficking (e.g., methamphetamine), murder, attempted murder, assault, kidnapping, robbery, extortion, money laundering, witness tampering, and fraud.
They have formed alliances (notably with the Gangster Disciples) to expand their operations.
The gang has a notable presence in various parts of the state, including stronger concentrations in south Mississippi (e.g., areas like Biloxi, Gulf Coast regions), central Mississippi, and Jackson. It has been linked to a high number of gang-related incidents and arrests in these areas.
In recent years (particularly 2022–2024), federal authorities (including the DOJ, ATF, DEA) conducted major investigations and prosecutions under RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) laws, resulting in dozens of convictions. For example:In a large-scale case, 37 gang members and associates were sentenced for racketeering, drug trafficking, and related violence.
Leaders and members received lengthy prison terms (e.g., 20+ years) for overseeing murders, drug operations, and other crimes from 2016–2022.
The Simon City Royals in Mississippi are often characterized by law enforcement as a "violent prison gang" with significant street-level impact, contributing to community violence, drug issues, and prison control challenges. While the gang has historical roots in Chicago's white greaser subculture, its Mississippi chapters have been heavily involved in modern organized crime, leading to widespread federal crackdowns. - Grok

"Clinton Police immediately arrested eight individuals on multiple charges including: felon in possession of a firearm, illegal possession of prescription drugs, conspiracy to possess stolen property, receiving stolen property, cooperation of a chop shop and numerous outstanding felony warrants.
Additionally, the suspects are being investigated for suspected criminal activity in Brandon, Byram, Jackson and Vicksburg. The Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms and Tobacco (ATF) has opened an investigation for federal firearms charges.
These subjects are believed to be members, or otherwise affiliated, with the Simon City Royals (SCR) gang. All but two subjects are convicted felons having been charged and convicted with burglaries, theft, larcenies, as well as drugs sales/possession."

Are the ones with all the face ink the ones putting in all the work?
Law enforcement need to flush out the royals.
Donuts with Confederate flags. Most I’ve seen around south and southwest Jackson are white trash meth heads stealing various items.
