Say what you will about the possible inaccuracies of the various CHS statements, but the fact is that at least one of the Mayor Lumumbas did speak on the record as an attorney for at least one of these criminals concerning the Upper Level and some of the various associated legal goings on.

This explains why Lumumba would never use the word "gang" when discussing Jackson's crime and homicide problems.

I don't think he uttered that word a single time during his eight years as Mayor.

Who could believe a cast of characters like Mayors Lumumba, Frank Melton, Kenny Stokes, and more than a few more.

Then there are the subplots like: No garbage pickup leading to a garbage emergency for the entire city due to the mayor's garbage RFPs and contract shenanigans, billions of gallons on raw sewage in the streets and rivers. Then the water treatment plant washing away in a biblical flood resulting in no water for the city.

Almost forgot how the heck do the script writers deal with the entire Jackson Kush New Afrika mess?


Things get more interesting when mayor the DA and some other fools getting comped by flying Nashville in a private jet with some people handing out bands. Then Nashville isn't enough whatever so they bail out for a yacht in Miami and a naked cigar bar and taking money in front of the cameras.

The feds roll up a few of the fools and just listen to the yelling.

Then the DA attempts to mount an intoxication defense, at the same time it's an open question what other people are mounting who what and where.

COJ has become a very dangerous city with gangs, organized crime, open drug activity, street level thugs; all reaching into former mayor, city council, board of supervisors & city employees hired by Lumumba. Is the current COJ cleaning house of these COJ employees?

@206, funny you should bring up the garbage contract in this discussion; serious charges that the entire charade of the collection contract was not about garbage but rather a front for laundering the drug money; what better way to transport and pay off various folks than to use the regular routes of a garbage truck? No company is interested in the collection of garbage without having the disposal portion as well; except, in this case -- tata - Richards! A company that doesn't have a disposal site wants and bribes.... ooops.... begs for the collection contract and Hizzoner goes to the mattresses for them to get the contract.
