"Bribe" translates to Jackson in Somali. This is a little known fact.

I'm sure this is probably obvious but it's not ringing a bell with me, what does CHS stand for?

He plead guilty to a federal felony charge on November 20, 2024. He falsely certified he was not a straw buyer when in fact he was a straw buyer for a convicted felon.

Why is everyone forgetting this all started with Harvey and club owner with that dumpy Convention Center. Refusing to pay bribes to Jackson leaders is why outlet mall went to Pearl. Beale Street developer also refused to pay $20k just to talk about Farish Street development.

True story. I had recently met one of the named detectives several years ago, and happened to have their number. I came across an extremely potential grisly scene. When you hear that a decomposing human smells different than anything else, I now know what they are talking about. I called that homicide detective to report my find, and that detective then told me not to call them about it, to just call the police. I did, and eventually a patrol officer rolled by, never got out of their car, and kept rolling. I figured if the police weren’t concerned enough to care, I sure wasn’t gonna go poking around anymore. I guess the vultures eventually finished what they had started.

About 25 years ago, a retired JPD detective told me that cops commonly ran local tags came up with nothing, because employees in that office were being bribed to sell tags off the books, but the cops were forbidden to investigate.

why did the Feds, DURING the BIDEN administration, while they were primarily focused on sending the FBI to the homes of conservatives due to Facebook posts, having the ATF raid the homes of people with no criminal record, etc., etc., etc., all of a sudden decide to punish Jody Owens and Antard Lumumba for corruption that’s been happening for decades in Jackson, MS, and continues to happen in Democrat controlled cities throughout this country???

There is a culture of bribery in Mississippi and has been for a very long time. Hint: it's how the politicians prosper.

No apparent effort ever made to investigate whether the car tag system has been perverted.

Has there been any effort to investigate the water billing E CODE fraud?

Like cameras and cell phones have revealed brutality that was always there, the media now reveals politicians who have always taken bribes. Actually they probably take LESS bribes now since most know they are being watched.

I know a guy whose first job out of USM was working at JPD. He left after a month because of the corruption and other BS, and that was around 1989 or 1990. He also told a story about two female officers who got into a cat fight while working 911 dispatch after finding out that they were both sleeping with the same officer.
