A quick search shows he was already investigated in Arizona for some instances back around 2002, and Florida after that. How this guy kept getting privileges will be ignored.
If you want some insight to that, listen to the podcast for Doctor Death.
Perhaps he could be allowed to be alone with his victims’ husbands, brothers, sons, and fathers. Just a short meeting.
Won't last long in Parchman.
Dr....Mehul Dixit? Good Lord. Well, just something for UMMC to think about, but if some dude named "Dr. Mhee Rubsmypeckeronya," who is under investigation for, er, rubbing his pecker on people, shows up looking for a job, y'all might wanna say, "Nope." Same for "Dr. Ike Illum," "Dr. Mal Practicedya," and of course, "Dr. Iaint Gotnolicense"
Put this sicko in jail for the rest of his life. Take all his earthly possessions and split it between the victims.
What 3:19 said.
Physically castrate him. Make it known that is part of the punishment. It will help deter some of these perverts.
Why is AG Finch just now wanting to do something about this? Political timing involved in any way?
Bedside manner of a different sort.
How did this take 2 years to finally indict the guy?
I see where he's in Hinds County Jail. They gonna eat him up in there.
the lawsuit will make health care at UMC go thru the roof. Lol. This dude was hired even though he had a documented history of diddling !!
My first thought was the same as 3:19's.
And please DEPORT him, and and everyone connected to him, who's deportable.
Deport him? Why? He needs to be prosecuted and if guilty, thrown in prison for a long time. Deporting him just sends him back home to hang out with his boyz.
"He needs to be prosecuted and if guilty, thrown in prison for a long time."
What are the odds of a 5'7" kiddie-diddling Indian being in a Mississippi prison "a long time?" I'll take "not good" if no one has it yet. If there is "guess the time" pot, I'll take 7 months. And Arizona and Florida are lining up for a crack at him, too, so deportation probably isn't in his future. Hell, there's probably not enough future in his future to worry about.
Fitch has simply grasped the low hanging fruit on this one...the same low hanging fruit that should be sliced and pickled.
Without being too overly specific, what about these victims equates to their being vulnerable? Age, infirmity, under the influence of anesthesia?
At trial (if applicable) that will undoubtedly be the first piece of prosecutorial evidence.
All the victims were underage. Being a pediatric nephrologist ( "medical kidney doctor for kids"), he had no medical reason to do breast or pelvic exams.
Where did you read that he did 'breast or pelvic examinations'? Surely you didn't just assume that. You wouldn't do that, would you?
If he did do thorough full body exams, there's defense number one. Whether needed or typical or not is a matter for the attorneys to debate.
So, your assumption is probably wrong.
