Time for some harmless speculation. Look what popped up on the U.S. District Court docket on June 6 and June 7.
So who are the subjects of Indictments 198-202? It could be a simple drug case or someone else? Who knows? It's just interesting.

Does that indicate 6 separate individuals, or 6 indictments with any number from 1-6? Non lawyer here.
There are a lot of tightened assholes in the metro area right now - perhaps particularly for former politicians and gov officials/contractors.
Not a lawyer, 10:39 am, but with my limited knowledge, indictments 198-202 could be 1 person indicted on several charges OR several different people indicted on charges. We just don't know at this point.
Good catch, Kingfish. 5 sealed indictments. That's extremely interesting.
I wish I knew how to post a poll.
Welfare scandal?
Goon Squad?
Convention Hotel?
What else?
Please let one of the names be Chowke, as he needs some love, right?
11:13
Good idea!
I’m hoping Goon squad /jackson
lets just hope one of them is styled USA v brian bailey........a/k/a/ one of santas elves.
Wow! I didn't know you could seal the "names" -- just thought you could seal documents involved. Interesting. . . Thanks for the info!
I'm on a boat
I'm on a boat
Take a good hard look 'cuz I'm sailin' on a boat
Hopefully Bryan Bailey, Antard the Joke, and Rukia the Woke
I'll take Chowke/RDI for $200 Alex.
we were just talking at work if anyone thought Sheriff Bailey would be indicted? Ironic. Hopefully it's him and his minions.
Chowke reported that this is only a perception of indictments. Right?
I'm with 11:27 AM. Please let one of the names be Chowke and one be Richards Disposal.
I have no idea what a typical U.S. District Court docket listing looks like. So, I hope some attorneys will comment and explain EXACTLY what the "Sealed v. Sealed" expression means, AND EXACTLY what the "Defendant *SEALED*" expression means. I can't help but wonder if the fact that the word SEALED (after the word Defendant) was not only put in all caps but was also put between asterisks means anything special (i.e. *SEALED*).
90% of these sealed indictments will involve public corruption on the state, county and municipal levels of government.
people need to understand the levels of corruption in this stinking third world, backwater, federal subsidy, called mississippi.
yet again the feds are here to flush the toilet .
its this level of corruption is why this state is running a distant 50th in economic development and government is the only growth industry. hell, this state has a legislature that per capita, is 10 times bigger than california.
its gonna take a new sewage treatment plant to handle all this do-do.
Let’s hope it’s Bailey, Bryant, and Lumumba. Corruption knows no party lines. Off with all their heads!
Let it be Chokwe and Jody Owens since the idiot voters in this shithole keep returning then to office despite the million reasons not to.
Harmless speculation? I'll play: Owens, Lee, Banks, and Lumumba.
@2:28. Bingo! Lumumba can do a lot more harm than Brian Bailey. With his minions of dope boys running the city, shooting each other (and any bystander in the crossfire) at will, he has got to go!
@1:30 just like your use of ALL CAPS words, it means nothing.
The mayor lives rent free in the minds of many. Once again he ain’t the fish cause he isn’t on the take !
My guess is Shad is preparing a raid on the Municipal League Conference. Gonna round up some clerks down there. Mail fraud is a federal offense and they've stolen some stamps.
The fact that they are sealed is meaningless. But there are numerous circumstances indicating that some or all of these indictments will be particularly interesting. They will be unsealed in due time.
Hey 3:45, Ask your mayor fish what he stored in that book safe hidden in plain site inside his municipal office. Then ask the DA if his hidden room was wired for recording purposes. May also want to ride by and check to see if there is a camera mounted on the power pole at the Downtown Cigar Company watching who comes and goes. Boudreaux's Butt Paste time.

Shad isn’t gonna do jack shit ! This is way over his head , he s been handed stuff if this magnitude on a silver platter and he didn’t touch it .
That's good one, 3:45 - keep 'em coming.
This is Richard’s garbage mess.
Richard rolled first and these are the abject idiots who honestly thought they could use their office to line their pockets with public money.
Rank hubris
Think North of Hinds. My money is on Madison County.
Why are they sealed? They don’t seal them when it’s John Q. Public.
Easy bet - this one is in Hinds; not Rankin, not Madison.
There are likely ones coming down soon in Madison (think Notre Dame; no, actually step down one and think "Rudy") His trial hasn't been deferred for these multiple times for nothing.
And there are likely ones coming down soon in/around Hinds while the pending sentencing of Davis/New/et.al. is slowly coming to an end.
But for this particular set - this is like all government; this is 'local'.
Owen, Lumumba, Banks, Lee and hmmmmm, let's guess #5. So many choices, so few indictments.
At least no one is guessing a former deputy sheriff, a former football player, a minor NCAA sport arena at a minor college, and a concussion!
I used to work near a courthouse so I know things. I thought all indictments were secret until served.
@7:14 is correct. The fact that they are sealed does not mean that there is something special about them. It likely means that these defendants have not been served with their indictments yet. Once they are served and arraigned their names will appear. Otherwise defendants would flee prior to being served with their indictments.
@11:08am how long does it typically take between a grand jury indictment and actually serving the indictment? does that happen simultaneously with an arrest?
on a related note, anybody had eyes on jody or antar this week?
11:08. In Hinds County? F’n for F’n ever if it doesn’t involve tax payer money.
😂😂 me thinks a lot of people will be not only surprised but wrong. Such speculation and wishful thinking…….
I reckon we'll see, 5:40.
You just lost all credibility with me. This is just tacky.
What's sad is the LONG list of folks this could be.
"You just lost all credibility with me. This is just tacky", oh, no, how will Kingfish go on. Next.
