It's a fairly new KingAir (2015 - N522MJ). They have an office at 500 Steed Rd, Ridgeland - Morgan White Group.
RIP.
Johnny Morgan was a great guy. This is very sad news.
Johnny, you are now resting with our God. Prayers to his family and many friends.
Dang I hate to hear it. I haven’t seen Johnny in years but he was a great guy.
I'll second %:52's comment about Johnny - he really was one of the good guys. As far as 5:58's comment, out of respect for the family, let's please eliminate the speculation before it gets started. Nothing is going to change the facts, and until the FAA completes its investigation, people speculating about this tragic accident are only making a sad situation worse.
A good man died. The cause does not matter. Quit speculating about so-called pilot complacency.
It was a 1973 King Air E-90. It was registered to the current owner in 2015.
So strange and at the same time heartwarming, that all that knew Johnny loved him, or at least really liked him if they didn't know him well. I met and was around him for a time only once, but remember him even today. He truly was a "good guy".
The pilot is mentioned. Assume no others were on board. Is that correct?
I have flown with Johnny in his plane years ago. Obviously, I had complete confidence in his piloting skills. RIP old friend.
Didn't know he had been a state representative until just read it on another page.
9:02 I am pretty sure he was a state senator.
