A Hinds County grand jury indicted Byram resident Corey Mathis in July for his fourth DUI since 2016. Mathis was already free on bond for misdemeanor domestic violence charges when indicted.
The indictment states Mathis was convicted of a DUI in 2016 (Forest), DUI in 2017 (Forest), and DUI in 2020 (Simpson County).
The Byram Municipal Court convicted Mathis of misdemeanor domestic violence on September 17, 2021. The Court fined him $500 and suspended a jail sentence of three months. However, Mathis appealed his conviction to Hinds County Court. The victim was his girlfriend.
Mathis faces a prison sentence of two to ten years and a fine of $3,000 to $10,000 if convicted of a fourth-offense DUI.

My car has autonomous driving, aka super cruise. It won’t drift into your lane and it will avoid rear-ending a car in front of me. Just because you are either poor, or an out-of-touch/technological challenged boomer, doesn’t mean that the rest of us can’t enjoy the benefits of our wealth in 2022!
9:46. Boomers at least are able to make comments that are relevant to the subject
Looks like an ex-boxer, cauliflower ear is a dead giveaway. Poor fellow is probably punch drunk.
