Lot of folks on this blog sure do enjoy piling on Todd. Love reading all these self righteous folks giving their thoughts. The only reason this is getting so much attention is cause he is extremely rich and good looking. How many other spousal abuse cases does Mr. Fish cover?

Don’t be foolish. He still owns the company. A ploy by Mardis to save his company and trick people into continuing to do business with a dirt bag.

I am glad I never met this guy. On earlier posts, 267 people responded virtually, if not totally, all condemning this apparent thug who has managed to make a lot of enemies throughout his lifetime. People began disliking him in his early school days and apparently are continuing to dislike him until this day. I hope she can get far enough away from him for her and her family’s safety.

At 7:43 His WIFE owns the company along with another female.

Yes, 3:12, people around here obviously feel very strongly about woman-beaters who pull out hair, fracture facial bones, and lacerate livers.

Here’s a clue: it isn’t because we secretly wish we were Todd Mardis.

At 6:57 he does not OWN the company. As for “the ploy”, it’s is an attempt by his wife, the OWNER and her business partner, co/owner to save THEIR company and the jobs of the many INNOCENT employees. And, as for “tricking” people, I think most of us are smarter than you give us credit for being.

I don’t know whether this guy was on steroids or not. Several commenters have indicated that he was. Guys on steroids are like pit bulls. Once they snap or the switch is turned on they go absolutely berserk. They totally loose control and then have a heavy price to pay. Something to consider before trying to increase your muscle mass quickly.

He might think about flying in his “personal” jet out to Hollywood”. I think they are looking for a new “Super Man” as a star!

But for the grace of God all would be condemned. I don’t condone these actions. They’re despicable. But the God of all has the power to change and transform even the worst among us. It is my prayer that through something as ugly as this, the brilliant presence of Christ almighty is magnified. I believe it can be!

I pray that he gets what he deserves, and I also pray that everyone else will remove him, his involvement from the other organizations he's a member of. No one or organization needs money badly enough to maintain ties with such a scumbag!

I have a so many questions. For starters, how does a 50+ year old man who obviously considered himself to be some sort of success story —

1. get so mad that he almost beats his wife to death after dinner with friends?
2. remember slapping her with an open hand but can’t remember how she got from the car to the house?
3. commit that level of violence against the person he lives with and leave the next morning on a business trip?

I believe the detective testified that security footage showed him dragging his unconscious wife by the hair across concrete. It would take a callous and cold-hearted person to drag an animal like that. If he beat her unconscious, is he the least bit concerned about whether she regains consciousness before he flies to Florida? Or is he just pissed that she “made him to that” and it might mess with his trip? How did she even get to the hospital? She didn’t just go to St. Dominics. Her injuries were so severe that she had to be taken to UMC. Was he in Florida while all that occurred?

Makes me wonder how he’s made it to his 50s without having killed someone. He almost looks still pissed in the mug shot.

What Todd did to his wife came from a place of hate in his heart for her. His true colors showed. He got so angry he could not stop. You don’t do something like that to anyone that means anything to you… even if he was drunk. Apparently he had a lot of build up rage towards her and it came out. I pray that she and her children can heal from this tragedy. Their entire family fell into little pieces that night. What a terrible tragedy

Todd Mardis is a narcissistic, sociopathic monster. He didn't just suddenly "snap" due to years of penned up resentment or rage. Steroids didn't cause it. His lack of a moral compass and lack of decency as a human being is what caused this episode and I'm sure many more like it. No doubt he has been physically abusing his wife, and probably kids throughout their entire marriage as well as feeling entitled to extra-marital affairs. I'm sure their lives have been hell. I hope she is strong enough to get far away from him and never look back.
Unfortunately, even though it's 2022, men like this still exist and women still stay. And the cycle repeats itself with the children that grow up in this environment.
When will we evolve as a society...apparently not anytime soon because I know of way to many women staying. No prestige or money is worth staying in a marriage like this...setting your children up for the same kind of future & putting your life in a monster's hands every day. I pray that Kim is healing physically and mentally. May God bless her and her children. May God help us all.

I pray their children can get the help they need to break generational curses. And his wife, who felt she couldn’t do any better than the joke of a man that she is married too. (And I use the word “man” lightly”)
Also, put Todd Mardis away…forever.
