Can somebody explain the difference between escaping and blessing?
This is just the beginning of these Inmates bringing Attention to Victor Masons Jail mismanagement of the jail.
They did the same thing to Tyrone.
Your done STUPID. You know your reading this Victor. Don't embarrass yourself and run again, but that ego of yours just can't resist it.
Victor doesn't have a clue anyway and Pete Luke is running the show and he's in the weeds too..
Another example of Victors Mason putting people in place who have No Clue. Pete Luke has never went thru MELOTA and has been civilian Administration his whole career at Hinds. A short time on Patrol at Madison P.D then Administration again.
Absolutely Laughable..Keep it Victor!
Pete Luke was given the certification without going to the training Academy. Given from Jimmy Houston. An earned certificate by so many. And now he is ruining the SO
@1:21, Pete was give it at Hinds thru a special Legislative session along with 2 others, during McMillan last term, in case he wasn't re elected, he could land somewhere and finish off his PEERS time.
Looks like it worked..but nobody respects you Pete Luke.
I don't think any Jail Administrator or Sherifff wants escapes from their jail, however as a former jail worker, I'd bet my 13th check someone was sleeping while they were supposed to be watching and listening. I worked at the downtown and Raymond locations. You can hear an inmate fart or even a rat run across the floor that early in the morning, if you're not sleeping. As for the jail workers, sometimes you pay for what you get. Pay and Train your officers! It ain't the Sheriff or the Jail Administrators job to watch the correctional deputies. If you don't like the Sheriff or any elected official, vote them out the next election. As for the three inmates that escaped (walked away), "they ain't smart enough to elude capture". Just pray they don't hurt anyone while on the run.
This shows only one inmate but a total of three escaped. Also I understand they were gone for well over 24 hours before anyone noticed. Wow
I'm updating the post to state the correct number of escapees. MDOC sent out a press release that only stated one escapee. The HCSO refuses to include this website on its email distribution list despite repeated requests over the last year that it do so. Thus sometimes JJ does not always have the latest information. Our apologies.
So where are the Feds? I thought they along with the HCBOS had come to some type of agreement to keep the citizens safe from escaped inmates. I hear Pete Luke thumbs his nose at that agreement. It's looking as if the Mason Inn is no safer than the Lewis Lodge was. If Victor could refrain from preying on female employees he might have time to do his job and use our tax dollars to make jail improvements rather than settle law suits. Funny the more things change the more they stay the same.
The jail has been the jail for years and years. Victor took a page out of Mac's book by keeping the folks in the dark as to what is going on in the jail. If not for MDOC we would not have known about this escape as there has been escapes that have not been reported by Victor.
You may not have liked who Lewis put in place to run the SO but at least they did have law enforcement training and were certified officers, unlike Pete Luke.
Kingfish these folks are not going to give you access because you will report the truth and this they do not want.
There's some serious, yet very preventable things being reported that go on at this facility. Contraband from just about anyone who can get any in it seems. People basically just walking out of the jail, unchecked, hardly any effort needed to break out apparently. Sexual harassment allegations against those at the helm indicate character and judgment problems which mean you probably should NOT oversee offenders. As reported, if the MDOC had NOT reported this, the society at large probably would not know what has transpired at our jail. While low pay is a problem, apparently you can't hire the foxes to watch the hen house folks. We need people of integrity and hard knock discipline to run these facilities, yet not be brutal.
