Hinds County Circuit Judge Tomie Green sent Blessed Adams back to prison last Thursday. Ridgeland police arrested him in January for strong-armed robbery, possession of marijuana, failure to yield to the police, and simple assault after he maced a clerk and then stole money from Old Canton Liquor and Wine. Ridgeland Police Chief John Neal called him a "serial robber".
Serial thug is indeed the better description for Blessed. He was indicted for two counts of armed robbery that were committed in December 2014. He used a gun to rob both the Family Dollar Store on Raymond Road and the Dollar General Store on West Northside Drive. He was convicted of both armed robbery charges on August 30, 2016.
However, Hinds County Circuit Judge Tomie Green blessed Blessed and turned him loose to go back on the prowl. She sentenced him to fifteen years in prison but suspended all fifteen years and ordered him to be released immediately. She placed him on supervised probation for three years. She justified this treatment by stating in her order that he had completed the RID program.
Judge Green ordered him to serve ten years in prison and three years of supervised probation. He currently awaits trail in Madison County for his Ridgeland rampage.
Kingfish note: Judge Green has received her share of criticism on this website so she will receive a thank you for putting him back in jail. Thank you Judge Green.

Judge Green has GOT to go!
He should have taken her favor and turned his life around. 10 years from Hinds--who knows how many from Madison.
At least she didn't let him go again..
If you use mace in a robbery in Madison County, that's probably a minimum of about 25 years. We have a different sort of jury pools and judges here.
Not so fast 10:06, the Myers girl who just Murdered the Hinds County Deputy was Indicted for shooting her previous boyfriend in the back at same house where she murdered Daryl Davis and the the Grand Jury said she was previously battered and abused by him in the past. Mind you, he was walking away at the time, and he lived only because he was wearing his best ( UMMC POLICE OFFICER )
So, we'll see about this time too.
The residents of Madison county like to think things are tougher there than in Hinds. To a general extent that is true. However, in Madison and in Hinds, one thing is true: the connected get breaks.
@10:28 Well since she committed suicide after she murdered him, what exactly will we see about this time? It sounds like you think she will get away with it. Maybe you are right since it doesn't look like they will be able to charge her. Duh!
11;13, it's obvious dummy, you can't follow the conversation..my comment was towards 10:06 comment about receiving 25 yrs in Madison, since Myers got away with her attempted murder previously and also in Madison County..
I love it when Dumbass's try play intellectual keyboard cowboy tough guy.
Madison County juries composed of citizens from the northern end of the county are very similar to Hinds First District juries. Its rare, but it has happened a few times.
@10:28 "the Myers GIRL"....GIRL being the key word. The social justice warriors would have us believe that no girl, woman or lady is capable of such violence unless acting in self defense. The previous jury bought it. Look how many on this site assumed the deputy was the aggressor, some even going so far as to float possible steroid use as the cause of his aggression. The long term, unintended consequences of women being given a free pass to get physical with a man isn't going to turn out well for anyone. It destroys mutual respect and takes the conflict to a totally different level where the man's only good option is to walk away.
@10:28
The Grand Jury indicted her and she went to trial.
She was found not guilty by a jury, not the Grand Jury. Big difference. That charge was also later expunged.
If her lawyer hadn't done such a good job working the jurors she would have been in prison when this murder/suicide happened.
1:53, 3:33 and 6:21 I totally agree..
It's sad, but so very true on all aspects..
Glad we have some folks on here with some good ass sense for once.
Yes, indeed. A big thanks to Jutch Green for doing her damned job for once. How about you not let these miscreants out on the street in the first place, Yo Onna?
A 'thank you' for WHAT? She sentenced him to 15 with 15 suspended. So when he fucks up again, she sentenced him to only TEN? You can bet Klem Kadiddlehopper's penis-pump that his ass will get more than that in Madison County!
Blessed got 10 years, day for day. Now Madison County will add "consecutive" years to that. He used his blessings in the worst possible way.
