Boyd is driver. |
Rankin-Madison District Attorney Michael Guest filed a motion to revoke the bond of Edward Boyd this morning in Madison County Circuit Court. The motion cites Article 3, Section 29 of the Mississippi Constitution in claiming that Boyd is a menace to society since he was arrested by Clinton police in December. Ridgeland Police arrested Boyd last June for stealing a purse with a gun from a car outside of the Ridgeland police station. RPD charged him with auto burglary and possession of a stolen firearm.
JJ reported on his arrest by Clinton police in a post published last Monday:
It looks like little Edward Boyd is back in jail. Clinton police
arrested the young lad for auto burglary and false pretenses on December
23, 2014. Readers might remember Boyd
as the perp who was arrested for breaking into a car and stealing a
purse with a gun in the parking lot of the Ridgeland police station last
June. He admitted to shooting himself literally in the foot with
another gun he stole as well. He has been in and out of police custody
over the last year. He has a bond of $500 for a charge of false
pretenses, two $25,000 bonds for two charges of auto burglary, and no
bond for the charge of credit card fraud. He also has a hold from JPD
for additional charges.
Boyd escaped from police custody last summer after going to court on auto burglary and auto theft charges. He was captured a few days later. Earlier post.

144. Probably a baby mama.
We KNOW these boys don't have a permit to carry -- is it possible, they've "broken a law" with this picture (combined with their arrest records), and more charges can be levied. Not an attorney. Can someone clarify?
Congratulations Kingfish for winning again!!!

Looking forward to a GREAT 2015!!!
Pay attention 3:31. You don't need a 'permit to carry' in this state.
@3:31 and other people ignorant of the constitution: No one needs a government-issued permit to carry a weapon (i.e., to bear arms). The 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees the right to bear arms and that right is not to be infringed. So, as shown in the photo, even pieces of $h!+ can brandish a hog leg as if they are invincible without violating any law. Mississippi, as well as most other states, regulate the "concealed carrying" of weapons through a permit process and this has been judicially determined to be a permissible infringement on the right to bear arms.
I've always wanted to see someone shoot a pistol like that. I bet it would make him a lot easier to id in a lineup. Put your face over the slide and look down the sights. Hold your eye open and pull the trigger.
Bond revoked!!!
9:34 Their heads must have exploded at the JFP when those results rolled in - did they actually print them>
Never saw it. I figured someone was pulling my leg.
