I'm really not overly concerned with what anyone thinks about me on this site. First of all, you probably don't know me and secondly, I'm the only one with the kahonas to come on here and say anything under my real name. I saw where a couple of people got it right. I was defending C.E. because I personally knew him quite well at one time and the man I knew would not be deliberately screwing anyone, period! I also said that I never really knew CF or AF and they they had always been more acquaintances than anything else. Therefore, I didn't really say to much about either of them. People who can't read or at the very least choose not to or take things out of context, are the reason that you could take any one line statement about any topic and give it a few hours before what's being passed along in the rumor mill is over a paragraphs worth of material. Some people just look for shit to say about others whether it's true or not. Obviously, you can find a lot of them right here on this blog.

I didn't have a problem with Wade's post last week. My interpretation was he was someone who was friends with the dad for a long time. More than a few people have spoken to me of the dad in a good way. The father had no clue what was going on, which is easy to see and happens more than people realize, and was shocked by what's happened. Mutual friends with him, people I know well, have confirmed it and said he lost quite a bit as well. Not trivializing what happened to the victims at all, just more a case of he was heart-broken by how things turned out. Wade didn't defend the sons, just tried to defend someone he knew well for a long time who other people have also said didn't know what was going on either. In fact, the original person who tipped me off on this story said hte granfather started the company, built it up, was one of sterling character, the son kept it going and did well with it, and the grandsons took over and ran it into the ground. THe father tried to come back and resurrect it but the damage was done. Wade is welcome to post on here as often as he desires.

Thank you Kingfish! Since this is your blog, I appreciate that coming from you more than anyone. I had heard about this site some time ago but always forgot to check it out. Around the holidays I ran into a friend who told me about this story and again, mentioned your site. Once again, I procrastinated on checking it out until a couple of weeks ago. I have to say that I'm pretty hooked now. The content is far better than that local rag they call a newspaper around here. I have read quite a few comments from people who apparently would not agree with me on that and who obviously don't like your site and/or whatever they think it is that it stands for. Personally, I don't see what's wrong with posting things that people are obviously interested in reading about and then providing a forum in which they are able to make their own comments and observations. I read one comment that stated that these comments and posts show up if you google one of the names and how that could negatively affect ones ability to get a job or some nonsense such as that. Come on, are you kidding? Why would anyone want to work for someone who would make a hiring decision based on what a bunch of anonymous bloggers said on some website? I think anyone with half a brain and a half an ounce of integrity would do a little more research than that on a prospective employee. That usually leads to the truth. If this site is what gave them the information in which to search out the truth on, then it is a good thing, no matter what that truth is...guilty or innocent. Also, keep in mind that thankfully, we live in the most forgiving country in the World. Americans as a whole tend to give people multiple chances, so I hardly believe this site and/or anything that gets said on it is ever going to be to blame for someone not getting a job, etc. So, anyone saying that can give it a rest...that's complete nonsense!

Wade, I watched the entire conversation going on and your experience with Mr. Frazier was well taken. While others will, and according to many reports here, condemn the least brood, it should not tarnish the standing of good men with desperate intentions.

I would hope that most could understand things beyond their personal control. And, I would also pray for understanding; while the least brood is not honorable, they are his sons.

I certainly won't speak for Kingfish, but he did say early on that there were more posts by a long shot about this mess than the Irby's, Heather Spencer, ect...all of the big new stories that struck a chord. This isn't being reported in the news anywhere around here, and I can only imagine that when Kf realized how many people had been hurt by CF (b/c of the massive amounts of posts on every article pertaining to him), he knew there was interest. If I were running a blog like this and I got as much traffic over a set of events like he has over this, I'd do the same thing. "It's not personal; its business." Right or wrong, like it or not....just my thoughts.

there is plenty of crime and graft in Jackson to ponder, but I see him only focusing upon NE Jackson socialites who fall from grace, like George and Robbie Bell, Stuart and Karen Irby, and now Claiborne and Austin Frazier.

So, if he is getting 150 comments on an article about CF, SI, or anyone else, and he's getting 10 on a post about redistricting, don't you think he's gonna be posting more about the story getting 150 hits??

Obviously, a lot of Kf's viewship has been directly affected by this particular story. The comments tell him so. Therefore, he knows there is interest. You may not like who he's focusing on and what people are saying, but its obviously working for Kf....he's bringing people to the blog through this story.

So, I don't see what the big mystery is....He doesn't have to have been directly affected by the Frazier's to keep posting; he just can post, and sit back and watch the numbers of hits on his site go up and up and up. The question should be "Why is he?" but rather, "Why wouldn't he?"
