Did Kamikaze commit plagiarism on The Jackson Free Press website? He wrote this diatribe against Republicans, accusing them for the most part of avoiding military service while sending our soldiers to battle. He wrote:
This Is Why Some Republicans and Talk-show Hosts are Hypocrites...WOW!Start paying attention to who the strongest pro-war pundits are...Some us them are quick to hide behind their faux cloak off patriotism, while never actually being willing to DO anything or have anyone in their family DO anything. If they're so ready to fight, let's give em all a gun and send em to Iraq. Hell, lets send em to the border and see how tough they really are. TELL ME THIS DOESNT MAKE YOU THINK!!

Republicans -(and these are the guys sending people to war-what makes them especially bad is that none of their kids serve either.. Talk about pimpin' these guys have been wrapping themselves around the war flag without ever taking a blow. Only an fool would fight for people like these guys. I am especially disappointed in all those who serve and still continue to vote for a body of people who routinely make budget cuts for vital resources needed by veterans. How many homeless vets do we see on our streets? hell I brought someone some food the other night because these idiots who are listed below talk a good game but aren't willing to back it up... They are the worst type un-patriotic scum of the earth..What makes these idiots so bad is that they are constantly calling other people's patriotism into question... Needless to say this list is a fraud and leaves out quite a few Republicans who bravely served. Do you see President George H.W. Bush , who was shot down in WWII? There is no mention of Thad Cochran's naval service. Congressman John Cooksey's military service. Senator Jeremiah Denton, who was in a Vietnamese POW camp. Reagan enlisted in the military in 1937 as a private and rose to 2nd Lt., something Kaze left out. Here are some others that Kaze conveniantly left off of his list:
Duncan Hunter: record was CONSPICUOUSLY ommited. Served in South Vietnam from 1970 to 1971 during the Vietnam War in the Army Rangers’ 75th Ranger Regiment, attached to the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He held the rank of First Lieutenant, and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Air Medal, and service ribbons such as the Vietnam Service Medal. By the way, his son just returned from his THIRD tour of Iraq.
BOB DOLE : lost use of arm in WWII.
Kirk Fordice (If Jeb Bush is included, then why not Kirk?) who was an Army officer and his son was an Airborne Ranger.
Senator Jeff Sessions served in the reserves.
Senator Ted Stevens: served in the Army Air Corps in World War II and was awarded two Distinguished Flying Crosses, two Air Medals, & the Yuan Hai Medal by the Republic of China.
Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge - US Army. Vietnam War. Awarded the Bronze Star for Valor, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and the Combat Infantry Badge.
Duke Cunningham, founder of top Gun and Naval Commander.
Congressman Porter Goss served several years in the CIA.
Bob Barr was a CIA analyst.
Congressman Norwood was an Army Captain in Vietnam.
Henry Hyde was an Ensign in WWII.
Roger Wicker was an officer in the Air Force reserves.
Tom Osbourne was in the reserves.
Heather Wilson graduated from the Air Force Academy.
Arlen Specter (Air Force)
Floyd Spence (Korean vet)
John Warner (Marines, WWII service)
Craig Thomas (Marines)
There are many others. See http://groups.google.com/group/alt.politics.bush/msg/369a8c188ed91e9a?hl=en&lr=&prev=/groups%3Fq%3Dserved%2Brepublicans%2Balaska%2Bjeffords%2Bcarolina%2BBachus%2Bkorea%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26selm%3D3C857A13.7225108E%2540gte.net%26rnum%3D3%26filter%3D0. I checked many of them out online to make sure the list was legitimate and it is.
What is NOT legitimate is the list that Kaze put up on the JFP website. His post was nothing but a smear against Republicans and slandered those who DID serve and PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE FOR THIS COUNTRY, which is more than I can say for our rapper of repugnance.
One must ask how he missed such glaring omissions. Surely he knew that President Bush was a fighter pilot in WWII or about Bob Dole losing the use of his arm. There is one VERY good explanation for how he missed these omissions and that is he didn't bother to read the whole list because HE DID NOT WRITE IT!!!.
I found a VERY SIMILAR list online: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1275604/posts. Does any of this look familiar after reading his post? It was posted back in 2004 and it has been circulating over the internet for several years. Its mighty funny how similar this list is to the one Kaze posted without attributing to anyone else. Its also might funny how many comments that post received and not ONE of the so called citizen journalists or bloggers at the JFP made mention of the very noticeable omissions on the list. You know what they say, never let facts get in the way of bashing Republicans.
Of course, one should not be surprised as Madame DeLadd admits she has seen the list:I've seen the above list before: Something, eh? Nothing like a bunch of chicken-hawk neo-cons sending our young men and women off to be killed without the proper equipment or help when they come home. Posted by: ladd on Dec 19, 07 12:42 pm
So much for her best practices of journalism. Her blogger tries to take something that has floated around on the internet for years, pass it off as something he wrote, and then agrees with it while she and Kaze admit in the comments that it is an internet circulated message. . How many times have I read her bashing the Clarion-Ledger for not doing basic fact-checking? But don't worry folks, because Kaze is a rapper, he is REAL!
Irony. Just plain irony, especially when you read this story, Adventures in Plagiarism, that slammed the CL and former food editor Courtney Taylor for her copying an article from Southern Living and publishing it as her own. http://www.jacksonfreepress.com/comments.php?id=10385_0_63_0_C
As a former member of the military and graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne School, I am disgusted by Kaze's post. Its nothing but a smear on Republicans and is nothing but a grave insult to brave and honorable men like George H. W. Bush, Tom Ridge, Bob Dole, Duncan Hunter, and others who have paid the price for us.
Kaze owes nothing less than a public apology to these brave veterans who sacrificed a helluva lot more than he ever has. If he has any class whatsoever, he will pull this so-called list and apologize for posting such filth. Kaze asked if that list made you think. Its a shame it didn't make him think as well.

Trollfest '09
Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.
Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).
Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.
Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".
In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.
In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.
Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.
Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!
This is definitely a Beaver production.

Jackson Jambalaya is the home of Trollfest '07. Catch this great event which promises to leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

The shine has been off the JFP penny King for a long time now. It is one forgettable print issue after another. Now another season of 'Best of' boosterism which is nothing more than a warmed over marketing campaign to which people respond 'So What?'. Kaze doesn't move the needle either. He just spins his sputter as some kind of unique that it isn't. Ladd is a fraud to most everyone outside of her little creative klatch. Stick to what you do well. The obvious of Ladd and the JFP is, well, already obvious.
agreed Rico but you know, this internet circular has been around for awhile and there has never been a true rebuttal to it. Friend of mine is composing a list of prominent Democrats who never served. SO I was writing this post with not just rebutting the JFP in mind, but for the wider internet audience that has seen that circular. Sometimes you have to roll the hard six for some traffic. ;-)
See her comment in the thread by the way where she tries to bash Bush over Dan Rather gate. No Ladd, it was not reporting techniques. The documents were FORGED!!! Hack.
I'm with you King. The minute I read the list I realized that Kaze had copped it somewhere on the web or via some passed along email. Do you really believe that he has that level of research skills?
But Ladd's actions should not surprise you at this point. Please tell me they don't. That isn't a tan she sports. That is the result of bathing.
LMAO at the bathing remark. So true.
