These people need shelter from the hot sun and old man winter. The city of Jackson should provide them free water and Entergy should at least let them run the air conditioner. If they don’t know how to work and buy their own property, it’s probably not any fault of their own. The word squatter is extremely offensive. They would probably be unalive without these abandoned properties.

Even further, the city of Jackson should provide them a livable wage and free health care, along with a free Mercedes-Benz and a subscription to Netflix. After all that, one of them should be given a job on the city counsel to make changes so that all free-loaders, I mean squatters could go to Jackson and get the same. All on the taxpayers of Jackson’s dime. Where is the compassion democrats always talk about?

Did they get a permit to build the fence and did they get their utility locates before digging? Those are serious violations! They could be shut down.

Also, there's probably some additional jackleg work been done if the city would bother to check and enforce their codes.

If only the same amount of effort was applied to finding a paying job and paying for a house instead of stealing it.
I think I will go to a car dealership, test drive a car and take it home and just stick a 'No Trespassing' sign in the window. That should guarantee me a free vehicle if I park it in Jackson.

You joke but if promises had been kept for tax dollars spent, since 1950 then every state should have a dozen or more nuclear reactors with nearly free electricity by now. We could all be zipping around in GM electric cars (Elon Musk drove a GM EV-1in 1997) but our uniparty politicians all got bought on both sides for 40 years to stall nuclear..
