Yup, the squatters put up not just a fence but..... a no trespassing sign.
The house sits abandoned at 3882 Northview Drive. Squatters moved in during the winter. There is no power but that didn't stop them from setting up camp.
The property is owned by Harmony Properties in Georgia.

Lord only knows what goes on within those walls--
But they put out their trash, and heat their water. Would bet the water meter is bypassed.
Ok that’s hilarious. Wonder who is keeping the grass cut? That is not a squatter house. It’s a squatter home.
Has the new Dr. Chief learned what her job entails about evicting squatters if the owner requests police assistance?
These people need shelter from the hot sun and old man winter. The city of Jackson should provide them free water and Entergy should at least let them run the air conditioner. If they don’t know how to work and buy their own property, it’s probably not any fault of their own. The word squatter is extremely offensive. They would probably be unalive without these abandoned properties.
I really wish the COJ would disincentivize out-of-state ownership of parcels. Tax the asshole owners.

One last thing, why don't you invite them into your house? I am sure your sanctimonious self has AC. If you get real lucky one will take a dump on your lawn and bathe with your water hose.

Did they get a permit to build the fence and did they get their utility locates before digging? Those are serious violations! They could be shut down.
Also, there's probably some additional jackleg work been done if the city would bother to check and enforce their codes.
If only the same amount of effort was applied to finding a paying job and paying for a house instead of stealing it.
I think I will go to a car dealership, test drive a car and take it home and just stick a 'No Trespassing' sign in the window. That should guarantee me a free vehicle if I park it in Jackson.
You can’t steal an abandoned house. They are improving it. Would you accused the rats, squirrels, and racoons of stealing it when they move in?

Thanks for telling us you didn’t graduate from Trump University. This is part of an investment portfolio. All you need is a picture of the property from about 1979 and a 2026 Jackson’s tax assessment. The AMC 1977 AMX Javelin sitting in the driveway just proves a classic car enthusiast lives there!
