During the court of this investigation, it was determined that the female party sustained injuries consistent to domestic violence. Officers learned what room the male party was staying in and attempted to make contact with him, however, the male refused to answer the door. Officers on scene were able to establish phone contact with the male party who expressed that he was not coming out. The domestic violence nature of the call for service than turned into a barricaded subject and was turned over to the Pearl Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team.

A special thanks to all the police officers involved in bringing a peaceful resolution to one of the most dangerous situations we face as law enforcement officers .
