A woman who went on a baseball bat spree at the Magee Walmart Saturday managed to get herself arrested. The Magee Police Department announced on social media:
The Magee Police Department has arrested and charged Sopheia Anglitte Ducksworth with felony malicious mischief for damages exceeding $1,000.
The video posted below shows Ducksworth in action Saturday.

Glad to see her arrested.
just another day, huh? the fatigue is real.
A friend of hers posted on Facebook that a white man in the store would not wait on her and that set her off. Playing the race card.
My solution:
It's only property damage, so I don't want to spend taxpayer money to feed and house here in a jail. So no jail time. Punishment should be pay restitution of twice the amount of the damage. Payment should be made within 60 days. The individual should be disallowed from ever receiving government assistance for the remainder of their life (the exception being social security). No welfare, food stamps, Section 8, nothing.
Hopefully she will find freedom from addiction while sitting her ass in prison.
With a prior she would be batting 2 for 2.
Cutting her hands off would help too.
"A friend of hers posted on Facebook that a white man in the store would not wait on her and that set her off. Playing the race card." More likely said, just a moment ma'am and I'll be right with you.

And what do you do when she doesn’t pay.
She's just angry her mama named her "Sopheia Anglitte".
@10:03. That’s why managers are there, to manage the employees and the business. Seems she could have avoided a lot of problems, for her and others, by talking to the manager.
@10:15 AM, “Payment should be made within 60 days” or else what?
You're spending as much to monitor and enforce compliance in your non-jail solution as the cost to jail her for an appropriate amount of time.
Are there any helpful Walmart employees? I thought everyone knew you were on your own in that place.
Folks this is mental illness, not anger. If bad service caused this we’d all be busting up stores.
@12:07
Unless you have the behavioral and medical history for this lady, you have absolutely zero evidence that this is a mental health issue. In reality, it could be either and yes, some people are just simply asshole enough to bust up stores. We DO NOT KNOW this case to determine WHY.
No....it's called "Sociopath", not a mental illness.
Good one!
Raise the "Karen card." Got it.
Maybe where you live but the Walmart employees in Madison are very helpful and friendly. That's how we roll in Madison.
I'm thinkin' she's trying for her CRAZY CHECK. Act crazy enough, and you get a monthly check. After all, judging from her name, she's already married a citizen, and birthed an anchor baby or two. Next step, a Crazy Check, for when the anchor babies aren't getting checks, anymore.
Just a guess, though.
12:28, it’s called “sociopathy” and individuals with sociopathic behaviors are diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder, which is listed in the DSM-5.
While I appreciate all of the "diagnoses" of what this woman "has," the truth of the matter is that she did what she did because she knew there would be no real repercussions for doing so. What you allow, you get more of, and she's seen - like most of us - YouTube videos of exactly the same behavior.......the majority without consequences.
Unfortunately, I'm confident the threat of jail is of no real concern to her. I'm betting virtually everyone she knows, and everyone those people know, have been in jail at one time or another. We, as a society, keep forgetting that we just don't have to live like this and keep allowing this type of behavior! It CAN be curtailed!
Like someone commented above: "The fatigue is real!" Man, is it ever.
She's too broke to pay for damage? Take one of her kidneys.
@3:52
What exactly do you think we as law abiding, tax paying, voting citizens and homeowners can do about this? Our elected officials won’t do a damn thing. While I can appreciate your commentary, what solutions do you propose?
4:28, 3:52 here. I agree with you wholeheartedly, and I'm as mystified as you are about the solution. I am constantly frustrated that various components of the criminal justice system seem either unwilling or incapable of bringing down consequences for these types of actions. If it's not the police, then it's the judiciary, etc.
Likewise, there's also the issue of a culture that either doesn't think far enough ahead about consequences to be concerned or they just don't care about them. If everyone I knew had been in jail before, maybe I wouldn't be afraid of it either.
Regardless, I'm just as frustrated as you are. It's like society has just given up and believes it has to constantly be subjected to this kind of behavior.....but it doesn't.
3:52 Ditto. I've said that for years... exact same position and wording. (actually kinda eerie seeing someone else sharing the exact same words and thoughts)
