If you want a different perspective on the Russo-Ukraino War, check out the Youtube channel Task & Purpose. Former Army infantryman Chris Cappy analyzes the "40 mile convoy" and why it may not be stalled as he provides a somewhat different analysis than what one sees in the media. Keep in mind the video was released Monday so some of the information is probably dated.
Today, it’s premature to say that the Russian army is bogged down or losing in Ukraine because of its sustainment issues. The Russian military is likely to overcome its logistical and maintenance challenges once captured railroads become operational. One new railhead is likely at Kherson, to support the drive against Odesa. Another railhead will be established somewhere south of Zaporizhzhia for a drive north toward Dnipro. Only the Kyiv operation will take longer because the rail lines going there pass through Chernihiv and Nizhyn, which the Russian armed forces will have to clear before the battle for Kyiv can begin. Once new railheads are established, it will alleviate pressure on Russian truck-borne logistics by shortening the supply lines.
The maintenance issue also delays operations but does not stop them. Large vehicles losses are detrimental but not catastrophic. Russian factories are far from the fighting and can replace Russian losses; Ukraine’s main combat vehicle plant is in Kharkiv, where heavy fighting is currently ongoing, and parts of the plant are already destroyed. Once new railheads are established, Russian forces are likely to transport replacement vehicles by rail and regenerate their combat forces. They are also likely to recover some of their abandoned vehicles as the National Guard continues to establish area security throughout the occupied territories.
Once the Russians have established new railheads and reorganized, their logistics forces will allow a renewed offensive of up to 90–120 miles, at which point they will have to halt and reset their logistics forces once more. Russian weaknesses in logistics are slowing their advance down, but by themselves they are not catastrophic. Given time, Russia should be able to overcome its logistical difficulties.

Those Ukrainians better learn how to tie a "Sherman's Necktie" and stop that rail shit like quick, easy and cheap.
Nuke the Kremlin back to the stone age, Правильно?
Russia has been doing everything it can to avoid casualties and civilian misery. The lights are still on in Kiev, for God's sake. They tried to do shock and awe without the shock, and it didn't work thanks to the lying media. Since the beginning, the media has twisted Russia's mercy into weakness, probably because it knows Putin can't end the war if the world thinks he's losing. Make no mistake about it: Russia will win, but it'll be far bloodier and more destructive thanks to the lying media.
Putin's little adventure is Pres. Joe Xiden's "wag the dog" moment.
Ukraine on Fire (Oliver Stone) is supposed to be excellent in helping everyone understand the truth of what is really happening with this war. It is highly censored so it may be difficult to find.
10:03 was obviously in the 'war room' the night they redacted Hillary from the photo. Cruising the snack table and not paying attention.
"An Army Infantryman"? That's his credentials? Brother, you guys will believe anybody that thinks like you.
From what I’ve “heard” the Russians aren’t really wanting to fight, low morale, and problems with equipment. Also low clouds are preventing air strikes so aircraft are having to fly low making them more vulnerable. I’ve seen plenty of drone footage and phone footage of Ukrainians taking out Russian armor and vehicles, lots of dead Russians, shot down aircraft, captured soldiers, and one where they face time the captured Russians mom. But it honestly seems like the Russians are holding back, hearts and minds didn’t work so maybe they’re reassessing the situation. But I’m just an armchair general so who knows.
@10:03pm - So Russia “has been doing everything it can” to avoid civilian casualties eh? How about not invading a sovereign country without provocation? For God’s sake.
People here in the U.S. should have learned by now they cannot take the news media seriously. Just look at what the news media has done to the U.S. They installed a weak president who has done much more damage to the country than he has done to Russia.
@9:51 AM
If I was “Mr. Putin,” I’d push the button and blow the little piece of land known as Ukraine completely off the world map. Whenever anyone asked why did I nuke Ukraine, I’d say that my elbow mistakenly hit the button.
I mean, shit happens. What can you do about it?
9:51, then why did they invade Ukraine in the first place? The Russians knew it wasn’t going to be easy
But why did they want that territory? Why are they killing innocent people? Why didn’t Putin put forth an agreement to meet with the President of Ukraine to purchase their resources?
