Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones issued the following statement.
Hinds County Sheriff’s Office is on scene investigating an officer involved shooting at the Raymond Detention Facility. One person is confirmed wounded and deceased on scene. Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is responding to conduct the investigation.
Kingfish note: The deceased woman was not an inmate.

Aaaaaaand done. May the FEDS be with you.
I’m trying to wrap my mind around someone getting shot at the Raymond Detention Center. If I had to say before knowing the details, the officer transported the suspect to the jail facilities where the un-cuffed suspect lost his life trying to overpower the officer for his weapon? If so, the officer did nothing wrong. He’s supposed to blow the top of his head off.

Actually, it’s “annnnnnnnnnd done.”
The “n” sound is extended, not the “a.”
If you’re gonna copy then at least come correctly.
So I guess this gonna be blamed on Marshand and Tyree will still get another pass on here. Erin Pickens does an excellent job writing his social media posts because everybody knows Tyree doesn’t have the brains to write such excellent statements.
Sheriff Tyree said: "The shooting at RDC involved at least three deputies and an unidentified female. The female is deceased. Both RDC and the Work Center along with all detainees are secure. Neither facility was compromised and the shooting occurred on County Farm Rd."
"'Wounded' and deceased." Okie dokey.
Done. Done Done. Sine die done.

He had the brains to become Hinds County Sheriff. You’re problem isn’t with Tyree. Your problem is with yourself and the thousands of Hinds County residents who voted for him.
Cry me a river.
@1:15 PM
The female is deceased.
Which means she’s not coming back.
“One person is confirmed wounded AND deceased on scene.”
Does anyone writing this stuff have a GED?
Succumbed.
got the RCSD treatment this time
Lol 1237
So much killing in Hinds County.
I'm moving to Ukraine!
"...fatally wounded": a more efficient version of "wounded and deceased" (the latter sounds iffy, half dead or dying slowly in agony, as in maybe shoot 'em again to be sure).
eh...saves our tax dollars feeding and housing a thug..
I’ve watched Tyree several times handling the BOS fiasco. I’m impressed with his professionalism. The best thing that can happen for him is for the Feds to take the jail. Best outcome for all parties.
Unidentified woman shows up in a stolen truck with a stolen handgun trying to get someone else out of jail. Novel way to perform a jail break I must say. This then goes into a shoot out scenario. Ma Barker goes down in a blaze of glory, so they say. I wonder when the calls for "why didn't they just wound her or taser her and other such BS. BLM gonna march on the facility? She was just trying to get her man out, I'm guessing man.
The deceased was armed at the gate, said she was there to pick up a prisoner (who wasn't even at the facility) and exchanged fire with 3 deputies and was fatally shot as a result.
The stolen handgun was in the F150 on school property when she stole it. People who leave unsecured firearms in vehicles are dick wads! You can buy a gun safe at Academy Sports for $10!!!!
You fuck sticks will pay $500+ for a handgun but don't spend ten fucking dollars to secure it!
@4:37 LOL at “professionalism”
Tyree is an intelligent guy. I've met with him on several occasions and have a lot of confidence in Tyree.
He would be an incredible Chief, heck Mayor. HE DONT PLAY!!!
-You fuck sticks will pay $500+ for a handgun but don't spend ten fucking dollars to secure it!-
Right on, Dick Wad! The main reason I bought a firearm is so I could lock it in a safe where I can't get to it when I need it. Especially a 1-foot square safe from Academy that I can keep on my truck seat beside me.
Let us know next time you hear people who are out to harm you who get on a bull-horn and say, "I'm on my way to get you. Go ahead and unlock your gun safe and wait for me".
Sounds to me that the “one suspect” was wounded first then eventually expired (deceased). The same as shot and killed. Wounded and deceased aren’t two verbs but who gives a rats ass how law enforcement talk. We should care how they enforce the law and not be whining behind anonymous comments about their subject verb agreement. Tough guys lol

Those $10 gun "safes" aren't even worth $10. See LockpickingLawyer

9:33 mentions those whining behind anonymous comments about subject verb agreement while spending 47 words explaining the relationship between wounded, expired, shot, killed and deceased. Airheads for 400, Alex.
