Politicians never solve problems. On the contrary, politicians are more likely to cause problems than to solve them. In fact, Politicians revel in problems they make or benefit from, and they always benefit from problems.
Take the current administration in Washington. Really. Please, take the current administration far, far away and give us a few problem-solvers who have no interest in politics. Inflation began raising its ugly head a few months a few months into 2021. Politicians called it “transitory” inflation, i.e. leave it alone and it will go away. As inflation gobbled up incomes, and gas prices began soaring, politicians immediately blamed the problem on the previous administration, even after prices blasted through 40 year old records with no end in sight.
Voters began asking politicians how they were going to solve soaring prices, and some of the very politicians charged with solving such economic bumps literally laughed, saying they had no magic to solve such problems.
Politicians don’t live in the real world with “ordinary” people. Someone else fills their cars with gas, buys their groceries, and pays for all the ice cream they can eat. Those are little things. Politicians don’t have time for little things. They have important decisions to make. Presidents appoint people to problem-solving positions based on careful political vetting categories like race, gender, sexual orientation, as well as positions on climate change and open borders.
We began the past fourteen months of this administration by giving away our energy independence to foreign powers like Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela. President Biden flexed his Oval Office muscles by mandating vaccinations and masks, forcing many workers to choose between keeping their jobs or becoming societal pariahs. The hits kept on coming when Biden abandoned plans and advice for leaving Afghanistan with ten of thousands of Americans stranded, thirteen service members dead, not to mention billions of dollars of state-of-the-art military weaponry in what had been one of the most secure U.S. bases in the Middle East.
In politics, it’s always better to be lucky. The Biden administration has somehow stumbled and bumbled into the mother-of-all dodging the blame game. “It’s Putin’s fault!” There simply is no problem in America today, or for that matter in the world, that cannot be traced directly back to Russian President Putin. He is a king. He is no politician. He despises politicians and other so-called “national leaders.” Putin is the king who will do whatever he wants to do. He fears no threats.
One year after America installed the weakest government in her history, Vladimir Putin inaugurated his own Putin Empire. With China and Iran’s support, no other nation or group of nations can muster a reasonable challenge to this coalition bent on world domination.
The problem is not that America and allies are incapable of surmounting such a challenge. The problem is we only have politicians. We used to have leaders who preached peace through strength, who stood up to adversaries rather than appease them, who built strong alliances with other freedom-loving nations, and who were not afraid to buck the political establishment.
Americans need to rally around our Constitution and reclaim our God-given freedoms and rights. It’s time to return to what made America great again.

Amen! Love this guy
I agree with every word.
Term limits, term limits, term limits. That's your answer.
We are a people looking for the easy way to get everything. We think somehow we are simply entitled to everything without sacrifice or cost. So we want to follow only those who promise such a future. Politicians fill the bill. Their profession can be lucrative and it's only a profession. A way to get paid. We get the "leaders" we deserve. Always have, always will.
You also have to have politicians that don’t listen to Hollywood Idiots, Musicians, and what’s trending on Twitter.
Politics is the second oldest profession and the more often than not policitians make the whores look bad by comparison.
I get several emails monthly from our "representative" Mike Guest who begins with "my dear friend". We have never met, so his salutation is a lie. Analysis of his memo shows that he uses the "I" more than anything else. I hope he does not hurt his arm by patting himself on his back.
And this cooter has 5 offices, one in D.C. and 4 in Mississippi. Why? If you try to write him, his offered email address is a dead end.
Term limits is a great idea whose time has come once again.
Jamie Whitten was seated in congress on Pearl Harbor day, and retired only a few years ago. The only thing that he seemed to contribute was a letter from a constituent who said "I saw that president Regan sent the marines into Grenada. I have an aunt in Water Valley and want to know if you think she will by OK.
This example of how this group of people get reelected is emblematic of how the trash politicians get to stay in office.
Perhaps we need better and more critical education?
That our beloved country survived it's leaders has been a good thing until now but it seems we are facing a true acid test with dingleberries like biden and his crew in charge.
God please bless us.

The Constitution is strong and it works.
To suggest otherwise is at best just fear mongering in an attempt to manipulate voters. At worst it is a dog whistle to extremists (aka idiots) like those who attacked police officers and broken into the US capitol building.
For those who don’t know, Ole Donald has traveled several times to Russia and spoke of the great friends he has there. Least you be fooled, Donald is no American Patriot, he would sell his Momma for his ideal of what America should look like!
America needs fewer rednecks from Starkville who pretend to understand politics, economics, military strategy, etc.
I know Gardner and his ilk prefer alternative facts, but sane people have to live in reality. If Gardner so despises the COVID relief money, two of which were authorized by Trump and the Republicans, he could have certainly returned the money to the US Treasury (and still can) or not have cashed the checks.
The Federal Reserve has the most tools to address inflation. Whether they are "politicians" can be debated. But, the steps to address inflation will cause some financial pain and I'm sure Gardner will complain about those steps.
Gardner parrots the Republican mantra that the US has "given away our energy independence" when in fact, the US was a net energy exporter in 2021.

Finally, as long as Trump was bleating and blathering about pulling the US out of NATO, Putin was not going to invade Ukraine hoping that Trump followed through on his childish whim and then Putin could have invaded Ukraine, faced a vastly weakened NATO, and be secure in the knowledge that Trump would have thought the invasion to be "genius".
Orange Man bad!
$4.00 gasoline good!
The headline alone only has one answer : TO LATE.
8:37. TOO......sigh.
Politicians ARE leaders.
The leader of this country is a politician.
Leaders of countries are politicians.
Politicians are leaders of countries.
Do you see where I’m going with this?
