The Pfizer booster might be somewhat of a dud in fighting the Xi variant of the Covid – 19 virus. The UK Health Security Agency released a study Thursday that said booster effectiveness fell after only 10 weeks. The study stated:
There is evidence of waning of protection against symptomatic disease with increasing time after dose 2, and by 10 weeks after the booster dose, with a 15 to 25% reduction in vaccine effectiveness after 10 weeks. This waning is faster for Omicron than for Delta infections. There are insufficient severe cases of Omicron as yet to analyze vaccine effectiveness against hospitalization, but this is expected to be better sustained, for both primary and booster doses....
Among those who received an AstraZeneca primary course, vaccine effectiveness was around 60% 2 to 4 weeks after either a Pfizer or Moderna booster, then dropped to 35% with a Pfizer booster and 45% with a Moderna booster by 10 weeks after the booster. Among those who received a Pfizer primary course, vaccine effectiveness was around 70% after a Pfizer booster, dropping to 45% after 10-plus weeks and stayed around 70 to 75% after a Moderna booster up to 9 weeks after booster.

I've heard that in England "Booster Shot" is spelled "Borchestershire Shot".
We will all NOW be Human pin cushions!
Booster, Boosted, Boosting, it doesn’t matter.
COVID in 4.
What is the Xi variant?
Now all you selfish mother f*ckers that won't get vaccinated have a new hero.
@10:32PM
Sorta like Wi variant but one step closer to the end.
Why the false headline? There is no xi variant and never will be.
@10:32pm and 7:27am - It’s KingFish trying to be funny. Xi is the leader of the CCP.
@7:27 AM - KF was having a little fun. Xi was the next up letter for naming by the WHO, but because the Chicom's president-for-life's surname is Xi, they skipped the Greek letter Xi.
See, that wasn't so difficult, right?
Actually, the next letter was “Nu”. They skipped it because people like those on this blog would be confused. They then skipped “Xi” because it is a very common surname, like Smith or Jones here. It’s called Xi on this blog as a very very weak attempt at wit.

But sufficient enough to stimulate yet another lame ass complaint from you.
