Be on the lookout for this dog that was stolen along with his owner's SUV from the Bulldog tonight:
My brother's truck was stolen tonight from the parking lot of the Bulldog on Ridgewood Rd. His dog was inside the truck. The dog is an Australian Shepard mut mix and the car was a white Escalade truck with Kentucky plates. My brother doesn't care about the truck at all; he just wants his dog back. Whoever stole the truck left the dog's leash where the car was. So whoever stole his truck hopefully let his dog go before taking off. If you could please share this story or do whatever you can to help, I would be greatly appreciative. My brother's name is Hunter Crisler and his phone number is 720-209-2297

KF—are you serious? I mean, are you really serious?
So he left his vehicle running with his dog in his vehicle?
So he left a dog in a car while he went in to drink. Now he wants help?
Handsome pooch!
I don't know what happened, but the dog is gone. The owner wants his dog back, and is asking for some help. I would be doing the same thing. Many people who visit the Jackson area from other places just don't get or know bad crime is. I have a relative who recently moved back. We are beating in his head the Jackson he knew growing up twenty years ago is not the Jackson today. In fact we have told him to stay out of Jackson period.
Its not Mayberry any more.
I always leave the keys in my truck in Jackson, along with a couple of Glocks and an AR.
NOT!!!
Feral animals stealing domesticated animals. Just another day in Jackson, Mississippi.
"Perception of crime."
1:24 a.m. You should have been in bed at that time. Nothing was said about the vehicle being left, running.
Leaving an Escalade with the keys in it in Jackson is like leaving a plate of Krispy Kremes in a room full of fat people.
I genuinely hope the dog is found. If I were to find him I'd give him back for free. I would hope whomever finds him would do the same.
7:29 - Tell us, Barn, exactly WHEN was Jackson Mayberry?
Should not have gone to the Pub with Dog. Yet car theft and dog being lost sucks. Worse case, dog is being used up in Canton as a bait dog. Since the pipeline fear hit seems like a 'road warrior' has started?
Jackson has gone to the dogs.
I love this guy’s optimism.
Hopefully his dose of reality from the Jackson hellscape doesn’t destroy that hope and optimism!
A lot of neighborhoods have Facebook pages including Lost & Found. So do the shelters and county animal control. Maybe -- when people get done speculating on what may or may not have happened, and scolding the owner based on ignorance -- they could check to see if anyone has found the lost pooch.
I'll be on the lookout. Pets are family.
If you go to this guys Facebook page you’ll see he has a history of having his cars stolen. Wonder why.
So he left his dog in a locked vehicle at a bar?
The car thieves are pros. Now that their targets are dwindling (Outback, Twin Peaks, etc.) you will have more break-ins at places like Scrooges and the Bulldog. Anyone venturing into Jackson for a drink be warned. The police cant help and the property owners don’t care.
1) Let's all hope the dog is ok and returned to his "master".
2) Depending on how much gas was in the truck tells us the perps either won't get far or won't get far at all, in these interesting times of hard to find gasoline.
Hey it’s tuff to lose a pet. To most their like family. So I guess there’s no video of the perps, not that it would matter but at least it may show them kicking the dog out. Then one would know if it may be at a shelter. Is the dog chipped? If you like your pets that’s the best way to find them...... if they are loose.
I have now heard multiple reports of people getting their car stolen at the Bulldog.
That's crazy. I wonder just exactly how much crime has happened there.
I hate that because it was never a bad place for some good beer.
Ok so the guy took his dog to a bar:
1) left dog in locked secured car
2) left keys in car and dog in comfortable car to pick up food to go
3) forgot he had dog in car
This dog needed a new owner
Crimes against humans are bad enough, but when you involve innocent animals, you've gone too far!!! Hope this puppy is found safe.
Lighten up people. This is apparently Kingfish's brother. Just help find the dog, and otherwise, shut the hell up.
I feel for the guy. I knew what he meant by not worried about the vehicle, just give me my dog. I hope the dog turns up.
Based on this complainant's published history, it's more than likely that he made up the whole damned thing. He gave the dog to somebody before he left Kentucky. Headed to Mississippi, concocted this sophomoric plan, went in for a couple of tall boys, came out and exclaimed, "Oh My God!" Let's get his insurance company involved.
The posted photo shows a motorcycle in the bed of the pickup. Surprised he didn't claim it was stolen too.
My take? There was NO theft of anything and the beer drinker's plan will fall apart during interrogation.
This is going to be the outcome, Kingfish...Why censor the post?
Now look what's appeared over on the Madison Pet Detectives Facebook page. Way too much obvious emotional hype in this whole fake story. But, now, the motorcycle is mentioned. Hmmm - Get outa here with this crap insurance scam story, man!
"He's the love of my life...", WAIT, there are laws against that!

$1000 reward for any information that leads to getting my dog back! I don’t care about the truck or the motorcycle but a pic is attached of both. Please please help. He’s the love of my life and I don’t know what I’ll do if I can’t find him. Please. Please help."
Y’all are stretching the story way too far he just wants his dog back. The truck was found last night at 1am but JPD took it to impound. Try and just be supportive of this man who misses his dog. There are still good people out there.
