Why such a long time before sentencing?
wonder how Spencer thinks he can beat this; when all of the rest of the (family>>) pleads guilty?
When did Claiborne all of sudden go with the rest of the family?
So what's the official over/under for sentencing?
Open is 36 months.
Now I wish somebody would go after Marshall Wolfe.
10 years a piece for stealing watermelons in Simpson County, mS
Now the "not enough evidence" BS can stop its apparent claiborne didn't want his family testifying against him. Im guessing12-18 months for austin & c.e & 24-36 for claiborne. That's not near enough if that's what transpires
5:28 he went with them when he realized too much evidence against him & unless I'm wrong austin & c.e. could be forced to testify against hm
Claiborne is off to prison! Well, I always thought he had a real pretty mouth.
May the salad tossing begin! I doubt very seriously they do any real time. They already know what their sentences are going to be most likely. I bet they plea bargained to a reduced sentence. They will do some time but it wont be much. Its also gonna be in a federal pen and there are not many salad tossers in those. Oh well, the didn't screw me, but I bet all the people they did screw can feel a little satisfaction.
What's a 'salad tosser'? Sounds like the same writer tossed several of the above salads.
Fat ass Spencer will be popular on date night.
These people deserve punishment for their crimes. But, they are not violent offenders.
Those of you who have posted with glee that they will be targets of gang rape are creepy sickos.
I'm less comfortable with you walking around in society causing trouble in people's lives with your hostility than I was with them walking around stealing.
Given Judge Goree's comments on Mr. Claiborne forcing his wife to swing, I don't think that is going to bother some people. Now George Bell, III, won't bother me a bit if it happens to him over and over.
Amen 7:55!! Disgusting!!
Sounds like what they "pled" to is a lot less than what they are actually guilty of. Claiborne and Austin need to spend many years in jail for their transgressions; C. E., I think, got caught up in what his kids were doing and tried to cover up for them.
Too bad we won't get to see a trial. I guess that was never going to happen. The federal sentencing guidelines are fairly complicated and fact-intensive. Pretty much impossible to say what the guidelines require for these guys, absent detailed facts of the case.
As for the "rape" comments: the Fraziers are spectacularly unsympathetic people who have a years-long pattern of swindling people (and, as it turns out, financial institutions). That said, I don't believe anyone actually hopes they get raped in prison. And it is very poor taste to joke about it. But what they have done to other people for years certainly goes far beyond bad taste.
I have to say I think they are all fell victim to Claiborne! The others were trying to do damage control. However, they did commit some of these crimes and have to pay.
Now Mr. Kingfish: You were in the courtroom yesterday and you know that neither CE nor Austin pled guilty to anything related to bank or mail fraud. So, let me help you report the facts accurately for your readers.
CE and Austin pled GUILTY to ONE COUNT of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Both of them pled NOT GUILTY to conspiracy to commit bank fraud and NOT GUILTY to conspiracy to commit mail fraud. Please repost this story and report the details accurately to your readers so they will continue respecting you and your news outlet as a reliable source for accurate information. Thank you.
Ya'll are dumb if you don't think CE and Nan taught these boys everything they know. EVERY SINGLE SLIMY character trait came from CE and Nan who are both as dangerous as they come.
Salad Tossing was the term Chris Rock used in his stand up comedy act about 10 years ago. It refers to being sodomized anally in prison. He said its called "having your salad tossed". I do not wish this upon anyone, but if your gonna do the crime you have to do the time. And that is part of the time in a lot of prisons. But probably not where they are going. These guys must have screwed the wrong people. Most of these types of crimes get washed under the rug most of the time. They must have had a good bit of evidence on them.
Liar. I sat in that courtroom and she read out the charges they pleaded guilty to... conspiracy to commit, and then bank, wire, and mail were joined by ands and ors. And you damn well know it.
1:04 - if they plead NOT GUILTY to one or more items, are they going to trial with Spencer?
Does anyone get the feeling that Spencer might be being taken advantage of again... By his lawyer.
They are not going to get raped in prison. This is a federal case, white collar crime, and they will do their time in a minimum security prison. They will not be with violent criminals.
White collar criminals get randy, too. I guess they're just more discreet about it.
Proof that I'm not a robot was 55 laPole. Funny.
Re: the idea that federal prison is a cakewalk, you might want to read the fairly recent interview with Dickie Scruggs about his experience. He made it sound pretty scary, tho I'm sure Parchman is much worse.
Yes, Dickie Scruggs, who is now vacationing at the federal prison on Maxwell AFB, Montgomery,Al is currently being punished for trying to help another inmate in a legal matter. He somehow violated prison policy and now has no phone or commissary privileges for the next 90 days according to his wife Diane Scruggs. He must now handwrite anything he wants people on the outside to know. Federal prison has been especially hard on Dickie. He misses his 120' yacht slicing thru the blue waters of the Virgin Islands.
since when any federal prison is a place for a cakewalk the person is still behind bars with little freedom; just can't walk out to the local bar for a drink, and how is Claiborne going to adjust not being able to be the "big man"
CE and Austin will not be able to have the run of things they will be always under someone
What about when they get out? What will they do for work, as ex-con felons?
at least Dickie still has his money he most likely will be back on his yacht and in the BVI when he is done
Yes he does have his money. D plane D plane will also land to pick him up and take him to D mansion in Oxford. He has been thru a lot but still has a lot. A hundred million or so is a lot of money to return to. But tonight he has no place to spend it.
but oh the Fraziers prey on others particularly women to take care of there financial needs (momma Nan, baby's mommas Ms Borello, and others MANY others) with no remorse...and they(Fraziers ie Claiborne) can't show there faces in places they once felt they owned... no more ole miss games, no more Oxford, no more Jackson, no more Hattiesburg, No more Tupelo, no more Destin hot spots, unless among other criminals
Fraziers are now federal criminals
thief + loser + criminal= FRAZIER name (Austin, C.E. and Claiborne)
Dplane or the cigar boat or the Belzoni camp or the six shooter camp...no legacy left for you but alot of unhappy people that you stole from under entitlement your lifestyle was more important than having character and doing the right thing when your bad business decisions brought your established company to its knees...Legacy of your needs before a company that could have had a legacy but The Fraziers thought they needed oh so much more...Good Luck in the pen
yeah I don't think the Fraziers (all three) have a pot to piss in unless in another unknowing victim
I would love to see a "going away" party being thrown for these two boys. Maybe at the Federal Court House....January 9th was it?
Now exjjxnres has a great idea. All of the victims and the Jackson Jambalaya contingency should attend the sentencing "going away party" on Jan 9, 2013. That should be fairly entertaining.
Wonder if any victims will testify re: what the defendants did.
Universal old proverb say.... "Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in 3 generations"
30 and 11:52 you sound like a bunch of losers if all you look forward to is going to a courtroom and watching someone's sentencing. Sickening!
10:10 - piss off, Austin.
10:10 must be one of the women on these criminals side. A victim would certainly have closure watching these thieves sentencing that is not sick it's called the judicial system .
Have fun visiting your men in the pen.
