Looks like Horhn voted against cleaning up the voter rolls and was on the losing end of a 43-9 vote. Bill authorized the Secretary of State to examine and correct the voter rolls under certain circumstances. Considering there are counties with more registered voters than residents, its pretty clear why some of the legislators voted against the bill and support for good government has nothing to do with it.

And before you Horhn clones start filling up my inbox, I gave Crisler and Archie a hard time in the last few weeks so none of this why does the Kingfish hate Horhn stuff.

Some parts of Horhn's senate district are in Madison County. Why in the world would he vote against legislation to clean up voter rolls?
WLBT: Mississippi's voter situation is hard to believe. Places like Madison County have over 123% more registered voters than people over the age of 18.
Out on the stump Horhn has been saying that Jacksonians won't buy into the bigger picture if the small stuff isn't getting done and done well. Isn't an accurate voter roll one of those small things? What could possibly be his motivation when 83% of his fellow Senators think this makes sense?
Horhn's asking people to believe his campaign is less that of a politician running for office and more a community development effort is fine. But that doesn't end the need for him to explain aspects of his voting record.
