Goon Squad victim managed to get himself in trouble yet again after a Mississippi Highway Patrol trooper caught him with firearms even though he is a convicted felon. The police report states:
On Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at approximately 1300, I, Trooper Jason Young, responded to an accident in Simpson County on Hwy 49 and Cato Rd. Upon my arrival, I located one of the drivers, Eddie Parker, in the back of the ambulance preparing to be transported to the local hospital. Before being transported, I asked Mr. Parker for a brief statement on what happened. Mr. Parker stated he was attempting to turn across the Hwy 49 intersection. Although he stated that he had looked both ways before entering the intersection and did not see any oncoming traffic, he did acknowledge that he made contact with a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Hwy 49.
While conducting my investigation, Simpson County Sheriff’s Office called to notify me that Eddie Parker was a convicted felon and was in possession of weapons. At that time, i contacted my dispatch via phone and ran his information by his social security number to confirm the information given to me by Simpson County. Dispatch notified me that Mr. Parker was a convicted felon through a background check out of Mississippi. After Mr. Parker was transported to UMMC, I continued my investigation where I recovered a hand gun and a rifle that were in plain sight from the passenger seat of his vehicle. Once Mr. Parker was released from UMMC, he was then transported to Simpson County jail and was charged with; driving with a suspended license, no proof of insurance, and a felon in possession of a firearm.
The firearms are a .45 Taurus handgun and a .22 Mossberg rifle.
Parker was tortured, tased, and beaten by the Goon Squad in January 2023. Parker and fellow victim Michael Cory Jenkins sued the Rankin County Sheriff's Office for damages and settled for $2.5 million.
Louisiana State Police arrested Parker in December. JJ reported December 18, 2025:
LSP troopers pulled Parker over at mile post 184 after they observed him committing multiple traffic violations as he traveled east on I-20 in his BMW. The violations included speeding and illegal lane usage. After approaching Parker, the troopers smelled a marijuana odor emanating from the vehicle.
They arrested him and conducted a post-Miranda search. A trooper found a baggy of meth in Parker's back pocket. Parker admitted it was meth. The police also found marijuana, cocaine, and two firearms.
The Louisiana State Police charged Parker with two charges for possessing Schedule II drugs, one count of marijuana possession, one count of possessing methamphetamine,, felon in possession of a firearm, and drug paraphernalia.
As stated earlier, some people just can't stay out of trouble.

I wonder how much of his share of the $2.5 million is left? Maybe he invested it through Vanguard or Edward Jones, right?
You mean Eddie Parker isn't a Boy Scout?
Yeah, but he's a RICH felon.
I'm shocked he had no liability insurance--
At this rate the Goon Victims will soon have more convictions than the Goon Squad.
It seems people still struggle to hold multiple truths in their heads at once: someone can be a legitimate criminal and still be a victim of police brutality. People probably have a differing opinion on morally whether there is a crime worth the treatment the Goon Squad gave their victims, but the fact is in our legal system there is literally no crime that justifies it.
BTW Jason Young is the same trooper that got into all that trouble in north MS. They have moved him down here to central MS. Also of note, said trooper is the same demographic as the perpetrator.
No amount of money can compensate for being sexually violated. Get a life!!!.
Gets a large settlement and buys a BMW. That is a massive financial mistake. Hell, BMW's are a horrible financial decision even if you don't have a large settlement to spend on one. Don't get me started on our local dealership....
His vehicle in the wreck was a Nissan
