Still think this will not end up in trial. Momma wants him released. Why, only she knows, but I think in the long run this will go away or at least be reduced to a DV-SA Misdemeanor. Just saying this from other cases I've followed and been part of.

Unless Kim/family have a change of heart, or the video (if admissible) is very graphic and damaging, Todd will get probation/suspended sentence, counseling/therapy and time served, IF CONVICTED.

So you've seen the video and medical records? Are you qualified and if so, willing to, certify any injures were caused by Mr. Mardis' hands and not by an auto accident as she has testified? Todd filed bankruptcy for his primary business in 2018 due to a multi-million dollar judgement against him for stealing trade secrets from TLS Marketing. He lied about it under oath and destroyed evidence infuriating the judge so much that judge decided in TLS's favor. At the time he filed bankruptcy, his very successful business had less than 50K in assets and millions of dollars in debt. Look it up. It is a matter of public record. See if you can find what Judge Carlton Reeves had to say about this arrogant fool. He ripped Todd a new one in his written decision

Todd is a good man who let his emotions get the best of him during a night of drinking. Kim even admitted she was drunk before she got to the restaurant that night. I think what many are not understanding is that Kim is not a "kid" and she and the idiot have been married over 30 years with no indication that anything like this has happened before. Gabby was a young lady and barely knew her killer, the same with other cases people mention here.

The husband seems like a jackwagon and I certainly wouldn't want to have anything to do with him, but this is not a case similar to what you and others are comparing. Those cases were young women in short term relationships, this is a 50+ year old successful woman in a 30 year relationship.
