Waaaaaaaaaaah.

Well, looks like  a Mr. Tom Head did not appreciate my comments about HB  #151. See for yourself.

You were banned from JFP?? Nice!!

Well, here is the story. We were discussing illegal immigration a few years ago. 2007. I wrote the Mexican government was more than happy to see it take place as they were happy to get rid of what they considered to be the dregs of society- the poor, the uneducated, etc. Kind of like the French fighting wars to kill of their's. They admitted it once. The French.

Well, Mr. Matt Saldana, college puke and reporter wannabe (actually could be good when he tried) decided to accuse me of favoring ethnic cleansing. Yup. Considering I wore the uniform of this country and took an oath to fight people like that did so, I took great offense to it and cussed him out for the puke he was. SHouldn't have done it and broke the rules. I got banned and since I did cuss him out, that is the way it it. Of course, he owes me an apology to but Her Laddness will never admit she or her reporters ever owe one to anyone. She refused my apologies as well.

Anyway, Mr. Head has no clue what my thoughts on immigration are because I've never really published them or told him so nice try.

As for the advertisers, well, there might be a reason people read this site and racism is not it.

So I have the Govenor and Donna Ladd opposing me at the same time. I must be doing something wrong.

reximus said...

Nicely done.

Kingfish said...

That is the difference between me and them. She and her friends have mentioned several times they can't believe I have advertisers. You know, I don't engage in that. They produce a product and there is a market for it, nice. And if people or businesses want to advertise, cool. I mean that. People i know have wanted to start boycotts of their advertisers and I've talked them out of it.

That is the difference between me and them. They would love to put me out of business. I can not say the same about them.

Kingfish said...

One thing I didn't make clear in the comment. When I say dregs, I mean that is what their government considers them to be.

This country was built on taken other countries' "dregs" and turning them into something special.

Blogs will blog. If you have strong sentiments- the thing to do now, is go to the statehouse and tell your representative and senator. HB 151 is now in conference...

No worries here Kingfish. Here is Donner's responce to one of the few commenters she has left when he called out HCBOS for handing out no bid contracts.

donnaladd 1 day, 22 hours ago

And Darryl, I'd also like to know what "take care of their own" means, too. That sounds like some not-so-veiled racism, but feel free to explain it and convince us that you're not going down that ugly road. Because, if so, you're going to need to get the hell off this site.

So much for free speech.

I was banned from the Jackson Free Press, and Ladd called me a racist. Tom Head Stalks me online every now and then. I don't even know the guy. He has even requested me to be friends with him on facebook.

I 'ran into' Head on another blog several years back. Didn't know him from NAMBLA's housecat (veiled reference intended). It became obvious (to me) rather quickly that his primary agenda was homosexual 'rights'. He was fond of rattlin' on about education, educational venues and educational venue outcomes.

Upon elementary research, it became clear that the man has never in his life set foot (or his ass) in a classroom. He was home-schooled and received a degree or three from questionable online "diploomer mills".

He takes the meaning of nutcase to a new level. Spends his days and nights churning out nutty articles related to homosexuality, civil liberties (he's quite the visionary) and how he envisions the world as soon as he can get it changed.

7:53 here again. Sorry about my spelling in the above post. I didn't have a free JFP intern to spell check for me. Let the jackassery begin.

Kingfish said...

Tom reminds me of Rousseau. Rousseau gave every one of his children shortly after birth to orphanages.....

but then wrote Emile, which is the intellectual foundation for modern education and the junk it is today. Same thing. Tom can't work, can't drive, lives at home, was home schooled, and can't be taken seriously because he doesn't really exist in the real world but we are all evil because we have real world opinions and philosophies based on real world experiences. I put Ladd above him in terms of thinking. Hell, we disagree on alot of things but we agree on several things too. Melton being one. Domestic violence being another.

That was me. I went off a bit then got blitzed by her and a stooge. Defended my answer to her then went on to expound a bit further to another JFP stooge.

Kingfish said...

All you did was point out what the Hinds BOS are doing. She is so duped she can't even admit what is obvious to the black community. More than a few black pols admit that part to me.

reximus said...

I should tell you yall about my experience with Mr. Head, but professional decorum precludes such.

Hypochondriac said...

Kingfish,

Maybe I am a racist also, but I find nothing reprehensible in your description of illegal immigrants.

The JFP is a rag, pure and simple. I consider it an an honor to kicked off their blog.

Anonymous said...

"As for the advertisers, well, there might be a reason people read this site and racism is not it."

Seems to be a reason many of them COMMENT though.

Anonymous said...

Alan Lange puts Ladd in the shade in terms of haughtiness and egocentrism. Apparently Head has a seat of honor at both tables.

Anonymous said...

Jonathan Lee is also running a banner on the JFP and I'm sure other online locales so Tom is just shooting himself in the foot again.

What does he expect a candidate for Mayor to do? Not try to get out their message? Not try to increase his name recognition?

Maybe Tom should get pissed off because Jonathan Lee is putting up campaign signs in NE Jackson?

Get real Tom. We know it is hard for you to see beyond the blinders you wear but get real.

I thought the State Tax Commission shut down the Fondren Freak Press.....

One is never really "banned" from commenting at the JFP. They'll put up impediments to derail your efforts but the lack the technical means to stop you. That is why their manual holding of comments for approval is so funny because it forces them to waste resources gatekeeping.

Anonymous said...

All you did was point out what the Hinds BOS are doing. She is so duped she can't even admit what is obvious to the black community.

She's not duped King. Ladd looks the other way and won't report the truth because it destroys her carefully manicured narrative. She calls herself a muckraker but she's only reform-minded when it comes to conservatives.

You know more than most. You know that there are a thousand stories out there about government waste, malfeasance, corruption, nepotism, etc and the Jackson Free Press doesn't touch a one of them -- especially if the central characters are black and/or Democrats.

Donna Ladd is a fraud. That is the bottom line and after a decade in the metro area there are very few people who don't know the score.

Ladd has lost most of the limited voice she ever had because she is an uncompromising and dogmatic ideologue who uses journalism and her publication to punish those she opposes.

Donna Ladd doesn't seek the truth, she seeks control and revenge.

Your success Kingfish has got to be eating Ladd and Head alive.

Head is a skilled wordsmith in the Free Press camp. He is very touchy. He can carry a grudge for months before he thaws out. I know.

I got banned when I posted that Kim Wade was a friend of Faye Peterson's and that people needed to know that when they heard Wade falling all over himself endorsing her on his program every night (I called him on his program one night and he confirmed it). Her nuttiness declared that that was defamatory. I think it is defamatory to say that saying Kim Wade is a friend of someone is defamatory of the alleged friend. But what would I know; I'm a lawyer. Don't be fooled for even one minute. Donna Ladd and Tom Head both read JJ.

Sad that Tom wants biased and exclusionary candidates. Don't see how that remotely makes Jackson a better place.

I find your blog quite interesting KingFish. Here are my quick and simple thoughts...you are the owner and moderator but how are you moderating if you fail to let everyone's thoughts/posts be seen on here?

How are you representing the people of the City and State you speak of so much by silencing voices. I will continue to check your blog to see what's up however when you edit free speech when it looks like someone doesn't agree with you/your direction it is simply wrong. I have never used a single cuss word, bated racial overtone, or anything really negative but I have watched you fail to place my comments and some of my friends dealing with the recent mayoral race!

What's up with that?

Kingfish said...

Free speech is one thing. Charges against candidates that have not yet been proven until I can check them out or documentation can be sent to me are not allowed. Not getting my butt sued for libel or slander just because you think you have an absolute right to free speech on this website. Just because its a blog doesn't mean I can't get sued and lose.

Hey Jane!

I never got banned. Didn't even try. I ban myself from participating in hypocracy, mediocrity and banal conversation.

Those *boobs* (I'm sure I'm now labelled a misogynist by those two fools TH and DL)can go off and continue to provide excellent entertainment all at the behest of the city's progress.

I found most interesting their discussion today on Twitter, Kaz' presented an excellent rebuttal and the real community concerns. A few Jacksonians even went as far to join in.

You couldn't be more off-base. This is the only (nearly) unfettered bastion of free speech in probably all of Mississippi.

Jane said...

I meant to say that claiming it is defamatory to say "x is a friend of Kim Wade" defames Kim Wade, not x.

Chill out Kingfish, Donna is just mad because you reported on the library book caper.

I also love the JFP. I pick up one everytime I get a bag of charcoal at Krogers. It works great in my charcoal chimney. Hey, they said it was free but didn't say you actually had to read it.

Anonymous said...

Hey, they said it was free but didn't say you actually had to read it.

Worth every penny you pay for it...hope that particular smoke doesn't taint your charcoal.

I was also called a racist by Donna on the JFP website. We had a heated discussion back and forth in the comment sections until she began deleting my comments and wording her responses as if I'd never made the deleted comments - in order to make the exchange look completely different to onlookers. After accusing her of censorship she finally looked up my private email through my JFP account and began shooting me emails in private. Among other things, I found abusing administrative access to look up my email address to try to beat me over the head in emails to be totally unprofessional.

Not only is she pretty, she's very smart as well.
Normally those two virtues would qualify her as beautiful.

Unfortunately, her attitude toward anyone that disagrees with her makes her one of the most ugly people in Mississippi .

6:34: Fair point or question. I will address. I allow such comments because I will allow people to be stupid for everyone to see. I don't always want to sweep them under the rug or ban them but bring it out in the open. Notice I don't ban any of the responses to such comments either.

Ersatz Jacksonian said...

The only time I ever posted on JFP was when they published some stupid article called, "You're a true Jacksonian if..." and listed things that qualified you to be a "true Jacksonian", such as eating at Hal and Mal's more than twice a month, owning an original Anthony Di Fatta painting, knowing that Al Stamps of Stamps Superburger is a vegetarian, making regular visits to the Smith Robertson museum, etc.

Since I nor anyone I know fits their rigid definition, I took issue.

I basically said that the attitude of JFPites is that if you live in Fondren, eat at Hal & Mal's and shop at Rainbow Coop, you qualify as a Jacksonian. If you live on McDowell Road, eat at Wendy's and shop at Kroger, you don't. (I still stand by that, BTW)

I got a bunch of petulant crap from the regulars and the QB herself, who finally closed comments because I was showing up her followers. I realized then that JFP was not about free discourse, but about saying the "correct" things and toeing the party line, in other words, being a "true Jacksonian".

I never went back, and I moved out of Jackson not long afterward. I determined I really hate true Jacksonians, at least by the JFP's definition.

Kingfish ~ Maybe you ought to decide whether you're a moderator, a journalist, an egomaniacle dictator, a psychologist wannabee, a tempest in a teapot, a censor, a supporter of certain 'advertisers' or simply a Ladd-Antagonist.

Your frequent censorship extends far, far beyond any editorial notion of slander and libel. When you're being cheered, you glow. When you're being questioned or differed with, you seem to go into combat mode. If I may borrow your psychologist's cap for a moment, you do remind me a bit of a short man with small hands and feet. (no assaultive comeback required).

I was also banned from the JFP site several years ago. My sin, of course, was pointing out that Ladd's various arguments were histrionic bullshit. I haven't visited her site in a long time. When I did check in there several months ago, it looked like not much was going on, very few commentors. Which makes sense, since Ladd bans everyone who disagrees with her too effectively. Hence the perfect description of her site, which I wish I could claim as my own, as a "sanctimonius echo chamber" where Ladd's lapdogs constantly assure her that she is brilliant.

As for Mr. Head, I think he is a genuinely nice person who is subject to being influenced by people like Ladd, to his detriment. I was somewhat surprised that he "Facebook un-friended" me over my comments on the Trayvon Martin case. And my comments weren't that exciting, IMO: essentially that the accused is entitled to a fair trial and an unbiased jury, which seems difficult in light of the press having summarily convicted him based on a very few facts of unknown validity. One would expect a civil liberties "expert" to understand that point quite thoroughly.

Stupid here!

KF, I think you owe the thin skinned unable to get their opine out whilst rummaging through opportunities to be opportunistic with a sarcastic comment or explanation of their deeply hurt feelings, an explanation; of sorts. I would expect the finest of backhands. That would be a "euphemistic" backhand, not referring to such vulgar behavior or any such nonsense, because we all know, we all value just words.

Mr. Head is only a proponent of civil liberties if you happen to be a black, lesbian feminist or transexual. George Zimmerman is guilty because he is white (wtf?)...and a male...and probably isnt a feminist.

Odd bunch at the JFP, progressives who don't like it when someone disagrees with them. I surely hope they don't consider themselves "journalist".

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
