The 80's flashback scheduled for the Brandon Amphitheater in August is cancelled. Yup, there will be no Styx, Kevin Cronin, and Don Felder.
The tour also cancelled shows in Birmingham, Franklin, and Dallas.

I am sure Live Nation and Butch Lee will find ANOTHER country band or tired 80s band passing through on their way to a Mississippi casino to cover it.
Guess they didn't get the sales they required to bother with Mississippi?
Now, I have "too much time on my hands."
Okay snarky assholes. The surging members for Styx are in their 70s now. It could be any number of health issues that cause this. No need for all the snark. Most of these guys should’ve retired last century but they need the money.
It was just a grand illusion
Rick Springfield and Wang Chung ftw
You know what I said....
August ? Let’s go Brandon
It's too hot in August for the age group who would go.
He was just there
Does this mean there's a chance Tiffany won't bring her
" I think we're alone now" anniversary tour to Metro Center ?
You gotta roll with the changes.
August is too hot for anything outdoors.......
2 live crew!
Guess there’s no sense of living anymore.
The old geezers saw a weather forcast for August in Mississippi. Then fired their booking agent.
I didnt feel old when Pink Floyd turned 80 but I will feel old when Tool, Weezer, and Radiohead, turns 60.
The only thing on the uptick in Mississippi in August is the temperature & killings!
@10:41
Maynard from Tool is 61
Rivers Cuomo from Weezer is 55
Thom Yorke from Radiohead is 58.
you are old and so is your favorite music
Styx came last year in July and the crowd was great and Tommy Shaw sounded better than ever. Why do so many people that live here act like you should hibernate in the summer months? If you can’t handle it go live in Alaska.
