The city of Jackson issued this statement:
The Jackson Police Department is currently investigating an
incident involving two black male suspects occupying a white in color late
model Chevy Tahoe. These individuals
are responsible for at least one robbery that occurred on April 9, 2015. They
are allegedly impersonating themselves as police officers, conducting traffic
stops with a blue light in the vehicle and robbing or attempting to rob victims
at gunpoint.
The Jackson Police Department will NOT be conducting traffic stops in unmarked vehicles. If anyone
feels they are subject to a traffic stop being conducted by a suspicious
vehicle that is not marked or identified as a police vehicle, should proceed to
a safe, well lighted area and call police dispatch to report this activity.
They are also urged to stay on the phone with a dispatcher to allow verification
of the traffic stop. If there are any questions relating to the stop, the Jackson
Police Department will dispatch a marked patrol vehicle and uniformed officer
to investigate the reporting.
Anyone with any information regarding the identity and/or
location of the suspects responsible for this incident are urged to contact the
Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1234 or 601-355-TIPS. (8477)

Great! In the past we've had Jackson cops who've acted like criminals... and now we've got criminals acting like cops.
They weren't acting like criminals. They WERE criminals.
Is there any information on what part of Jackson the robbery occurred in?

Too bad the real cops aren't allowed to take these fake cops "out back".
Probably were Jackson cops.
Looks like the fake cops are more effective at achieving an objective than our real HindsCo District Attorney.
There is a huge difference between a portable blue light that sticks to the top of a car or sits on a dashboard and the police rack of lights. Don't be fooled by a single blue light.
The blue light used was originally at K-Mart.
That looks like a black male
"...impersonating themselves as police officers..." ?
How about "..impersonating police officers..."?
PS: Kojak always had a single light.
