Chris McDaniel: Why we fight.

Chris McDaniel issued this email today:

Dear Supporter,

To nobody’s surprise, the liberal media opposes my fight for the people of Mississippi. What do you think? If you believe that the integrity of our elections is worth fighting for, then please stand with me and donate to the Election Challenge Fund today.
Earlier this week, the editorial board of the Washington Post said I should concede the primary runoff election. If it surprises you that the liberal media wants to shut us down, then you haven't been paying close enough attention.
This election challenge isn’t about making friends. It isn’t about my political career, and it isn’t about what is best for the establishment wing of the Republican Party.

This is about ensuring the validity of Mississippi’s elections and making sure that the candidate Republicans voted for represents us in the general election this November.

Ever since I decided to run of U.S. Senate, both Democrats and liberal Republicans have been telling me to give up. They have always thought I was crazy for challenging a 35-year incumbent senator.
And here’s the thing – if I give up, then they’re right.
If I give up, it means whoever has the most money and power in Washington can win any election, using any means necessary. It means that if you have enough friends in high places, you can use shady tactics to steal an election from the voters.

This won’t be the last time I’m attacked by the liberal media, and I’m committed to keep up this fight until the end. I believe that our elections are worth fighting for, and I bet you do too. If you do, then please take a moment to contribute to our Election Challenge Fund.

This court battle will be expensive, and it only just beginning. We won’t be able to do it without the help of conservatives everywhere.
I assure you, this fight is far from over. With your support, I will make sure that we discover the truth about last month’s primary runoff election.

In Liberty,

Chris McDaniel

There sure are a lot of "I" in that letter for it not to be about himself.

Chris, you ended the campaign with over $350,000 so you do not need to beg for other people's money. It is unseemly. Second, you are and idiot still if you give up now or when forced to by the Courts, and this ain't the liberal media. Shameless loser. If you make this go on for a couple of more months, Mississippians are going to be begging you to get out of here and leave us alone.

If I thought the integrity of Mississippi's electoral process was at risk, I'd agree with you. Neither Cochran, however, nor the voters did anything wrong. You criticized him for getting monies on food stamps and then called it slander when he told black voters you had a problem with them.

We have the right to confidential votes in this country, something that was fine with you until you lost.

The only integrity that has been lost in this campaign was caused by you, who cannot accept that you lost. You've dragged the republican party through the dirt, accusing people of theft, slander, libel and graft while your own people were breaking into nursing homes and showing up at the courthouse after hours.

You sound like Elmer Gantry on your FB page, telling everyone you'll respect God's will; however, the only will you can accept from God is that you win.

You and the rest of the tea party are a disgrace to this nation. You claim the religious high road but act in direct opposition of everything Christ stood for.

I'll be glad when you finally fade from view and the rest of us can get on with it and try to get something done in this stalemate of a government that you have wrought.

Wow, talk about a tear-jerker of a donation letter--- only the fourth one in the past 8 days!

When I donate to this worthy, patriotic, Real Conservative™ cause, will I receive a free lucky prayer cloth and a photo of the starving former candidate wearing an official U.S. Flag© pin and a new pair of shoes, courtesy of my "best" love gift?

Also, if I send my "super best" love gift, do I receive a genuine gold-plated (3 microns thick) heart-shaped locket along one of Chris's curls along with regular updates with his his progress reports in school)?

P.S. Can I send additional $$$ to ensure the livelihood of Chris's BFF little Michael Watson, also?

5:22. Didn't say 170k don't care and support Thad. I said many are supporting Thad. Polling is showing 20-25%. You have a core group that are very angry and won't support Thad no matter what. The rest simply aren't that invested.

There is a reason McDaniel is -24 in his approval ratings every day that goes by he alienates everyone except the tinfoil hat crowd. You know, the ones that think Got News is a legitimate news source.

A copy of my letter mailed to Chris McDaniel campaign this afternoon.

Dear Chris McDaniel:

I received your latest request for additional money. Before I will make another contribution, I need some information, please sir.

First, what did you do with the $50 that I sent to you to investigate all of the fraud? I believe you last said at last count that there were over 10,000 cases of voter fraud that you have identified.

I'm waiting for the particulars on those. I trust there's no exaggeration there because whether it's ten or ten thousand actual fraudulent votes, it's no joke to anybody. But the straight-up truth is what we want to see, not just a made-up number to stir up folks mad about how the voting came out. I'm patiently, but eagerly awaiting to see the actual evidence, not just hear about third-party "allegations".

And while I'm asking, what about the $15.00 check that I also sent to you already for the fifteen bounties of $1,0000 each that you were going to pay out? Did you pay out that money? It's important that you follow-up with these specific promises, and we need to know the specifics sooner rather than later.

By the way, I hope you didn't pay one thin dime to that Charles C. Johnson boy, because it turns out that just about all the stuff he wrote was a bunch of hogwash. He is a prime example of yellow internet "journalism" to get some of us to send him cash for his checkbook journalism.

I'm glad I checked Johnson out good before I sent him a penny. In fact, you should've put out a press release yourself notifying us Tea Party voters that Johnson was a fake reporter that was just raising money only for himself, and he was never attached to your campaign staff the way he pretended to be working and communicating with all your people.

I will need to see some receipts and documentation for the $1000 payouts before I donate again. I realize that it's much easier to spend other people's money than your own, but you promised transparency and accountability, and it's past time to deliver.

I trust that you understand that this cash we've donated already doesn't grow on trees, and ethically, you need to spend that $360,000 or $380,000 that you have on hand first, before you ask for more from us supporters.

I know you didn't have any luck in getting any of your legislation passed this year in the Mississippi senate, but come next January, you can work hard in the legislature to fix the MS election laws whenever you decide to get back to your job that we already elected you to do. Of course, that's assuming you're still interested in doing that job anymore. I realize you're busy, but I am too, and I'll be too busy to stop and write another check until I see some results from my requests along with the documentation. So Please follow-up ASAP.

I am a conservative Republican, and my message to McDaniel: Please give up. McDaniel is a poor representative for conservatives, and he does not speak for me, nor lots of other conservatives who want and deserve better leadership and representation than he is capable of giving.

All you folks who are constantly harping about the McDaniel campaign soliciting funds should look at what the national republican party is doing. I got a call yesterday on my home phone, which is on the no call list for whatever that is worth. soliciting funds for the national republican party. Nothing new here, but is is only a bad thing if McDaniel is doing it. Needless to say I told him that I would not give the republican party one damn dime after the way they stole the primary. He started trying to tell me that this was the national party and not the MSGOP and asked me for $75. I told him to stick his republicrat party where the sun doesn't shine and hung up. Screw the republican party. They are no different from the democrats.

Anonymous said...

10:25 you are right, from a tea party position, the Republican Party and the Democratic Party are not different in that they both matter, unlike the tea party. By the way, your phone conversation scenario seems so realistic like it really happened

Anonymous said...

I agree with most of the comments above. McDaniel is bad for Mississippi. What we really need is a old senile democrat who is unfaithful to his family.

You people are totally overlooking the true man behind the curtain, the person who really keeps all this crap going day after day, the one without whom we wouldn't even know this parenthetical minutia is even still sitting on the backburners of Mississippi. Surprise Surprise. He be the Kingfish.

All you toads keep chirping 'please make it go away' while, in reality, it HAS gone away, except for here on this blog. KF keeps it alive. And his goal is to keep all you wiggle-worms just stirred up enough for him to make a living off of you.

Meanwhile, We Wonder said...

Meanwhile:

How will Thad manage to get out of speaking at Neshoba? Has he become the next 'Where's Waldo'?

Where will Ben Allen use the credit card next? He's a good boy, we trust him, and he wouldn't steal a dime. If we required receipts and advance approval, why, we'd have to raise his salary 20%. We can't afford THAT!

Anonymous said...

Maybe when Thad speaks(if he shows up and speaks) he might tell us just what those indecent things he did with animals were. If he commits another blooper like that one you can bet that the lapdog liberal press will cover it up quickly and little big mouth Barbour will tell us what he (really)said.

Anonymous said...

Truth be Known

The mainstream media may well have decided that this is essentially over as the outcome shouldn't be in doubt.

However, I think it very important for Mississippians, particularly those in The Tea Party to read the court filings and see McDaniel's continuing efforts to con people out of their hard earned dollars.

This man and his cohorts should be politically shunned in this state!

With each post KF makes, I hope we are a step closer to having Mississippians immediately dismiss anything they say or do !

What about the $8M spent by outside interests in our State on behalf of the TP? Did they even bother to check out this idiot or were they just so loathsome of Thad's career that they supported Chris? What a waste of money and an embarrassment for Mississippi.

Anonymous said...

This is nothing but McDaniel saying "I'm still loving attention and money." Thank goodness he doesn't have my email address like his over zealous supporters did my home phone number calling 5-6 times day and night for weeks and weeks. Total turnoff, too. Still wondering why he doesn't have a close friend or family member who hasn't looked him in the eye and told him enough is enough.

Anonymous said...

Maybe McDaniel is doing all of this because it's like that bad dream where we forget to study for that final exam and we're screwed or when all your teeth start falling out and you can stop it. But then you wake up and realize it was just a dream.

McD's dream was that he won the election and was on his way to DC. Why wouldn't he think that with leading after the first primary, money flowing in, comfortable lead in the polls? All was right in his world.

But then the runoff happened, he didn't win and that nightmare became his reality. If only he could wake up and feel his teeth; then maybe he can move on.

Your site Kingfish has been taken over by sock puppets.

" I got a call yesterday on my home phone, which is on the no call list for whatever that is worth."

If you followed the details of lawmaking you would know that politicos who wrote the Do Not Call List legislation exempted themselves (as they do from most laws) and are allowed to call anyone asking for money or support any time they desire.

Of course, if you're a fan of the Chairman of the Mississippi Senate Committee on Elections, who doesn't seem to realize that black people are allowed to vote in Mississippi, in any primary or runoff they desire, I wouldn't expect you to know the minutiae on the national level either.

9:44 nails it. I think one other thing fuels the anger of the true crazies, the ones who go on Joe Nosef's FB page or Bill Marcy's and rant on. Is is pretty ridiculous for any McDaniel supporter to call a Cochran supporter a sore anything at this point. The runoff was over a month ago and still no concession? I don't even know if "concession" is the appropriate term at this point. It is like a Japanese hold out spending 30 years on a remote Philippine island not knowing the war ended. At least the hold outs had were unaware. McDaniel just does not have class. Of course, I am all for marooning McDaniel and his supporters on a remote Philippine island where they can live in denial for 30 years. It would be like y'alls own little Jones Town.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
