Took a felony conviction, but not a nanosecond in custody.

If you worked the case, you know his name. Punch it into the registry.

I am all about killing the killers, rapists, animal cruelty types, kiddie pornsters, I ain't no bleeding heart . . . but it's kind of funny how karma works. I can only hope they are being victimized by their fellow prisoners on a hourly basis for the rest of there wretched lives. I've been practicing for 24 years, and he still hasn't been executed...even though he confessed and led authorities to the poor girl's body. There is something really wrong with our so-called justice system.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447438783001404385.post-3464926479567422772021-09-15T10:29:13.930-05:002021-09-15T10:29:13.930-05:00I well recall this horrific crime, with outrage. ...I well recall this horrific crime, with outrage. I am sorry this man died without some sense of "justice," whatever that means in these awful circumstances.

But if Mr. Salter wants a system better equipped to administer capital punishment I suggest a move to China, Iran, or some other garden spot without much in the way of a bill of rights.

On the other hand you can stay here and quit bitching about "the judicial system." One thing we do have in this country is an independent federal judiciary. Pity is the state system is highly politicized, elected judges, with predictable results. Nobody bitches about it when little Willie gets a "second chance" after DUI killing somebody's beautiful daughter. Or when a lawyer smuggles contraband into the jail and a circuit judge tell the DI not to prosecute. Or when the very scum of the earth are appointed to interim circuit vacancies owing to political considerations. (Names of all three on request.)

But Mr. Salter's teat is in the wringer b/c some pitiful bottom feeder spends 31 years on death row without being put down. Were it I, I should much prefer to be lethally injected, shot, electrocuted, gassed, run over by a bulldozer than spend 31 years in Unit 29. But that's just me and I'm squeamish as all hell.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447438783001404385.post-77894808446058114212021-09-15T10:28:21.022-05:002021-09-15T10:28:21.022-05:00I have no expectation of the execution of these tw...I have no expectation of the execution of these two psychopaths.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
