Apparently he was later impeached for perjury for lying about his involvement in getting a different drug dealer favorable treatment. While in prison, he continued to earn his salary as a federal judge and after serving his prison sentence, he was allowed to retake the bar and get his law license back. I guess not much has changed around here in 30 years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447438783001404385.post-46686254782371087352018-10-29T19:15:39.502-05:002018-10-29T19:15:39.502-05:00I remember Little China Town. Actually very good Chinese food.

Cafe Creole was on the east side of Ridgewood Rd. north of Adkins Blvd., I believe. That building has housed many different restaurants over the years.

I don't remember the Fadlo's restaurant but I agree it must have been in the Dobb's House/Huddle House Building. Seems like I remember Zoli's for being one of those bars that served just enough food to keep a liquor license. That location has been through many incarnations; current BBQ. Steak and Ale has been commented on before. With that address, Little China Town had to be what later (after?) became Peking? Cafe Creole, no memory. Zoli's, a few happy hours back in the day.

11:20, ever tried Lulu Kabab or Yiayia's in Ridgeland, or Athenos in Madison?Louis LeFleurnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447438783001404385.post-90596669985921526652018-10-29T11:31:25.453-05:002018-10-29T11:31:25.453-05:00Steak and Ale was a good after work joint.
