It was also revealed that the money laundering charges included Epps furnishing him with $40,000 cash in bribe money that McCrory laundered back through his family's Tractor Company franchise to return to Epps as the supposed proceeds of a legitimate equipment transaction. Finally, the FBI revealed that McCrory was the first to become an informant, wearing a wire on Epps in early 2014. We still have not seen any clue that the big dogs on that block, GEO Group, CCA and MTC were knowingly making payoffs for contracts, though the bulk of the money must have come from them.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09339017322029453291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447438783001404385.post-75602746020804394892016-12-21T16:31:08.683-06:002016-12-21T16:31:08.683-06:00McCrory is supposed to be sentenced today, unless ...McCrory is supposed to be sentenced today, unless Wingate allows him to change his plea. There's no question of guilt. He was the bagman for Epps, and they took millions in bribes. Some of the little fish who furnished the bribes admitted it. Another killed himself just prior to his arraignment. McCrory is looking for a better deal, or is hoping he can go to trial with at least on juror who is stupid or corrupt enough to reject a guilty verdict.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09339017322029453291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2447438783001404385.post-48932311918802027872016-12-11T06:39:43.369-06:002016-12-11T06:39:43.369-06:00BREAKING: Epps convinces judge to allow plea withd...BREAKING: Epps convinces judge to allow plea withdrawal. But, initially he was willing to go to jail, get fined, and be unable to run for public office by plea bargaining on a crime he did not commit. What kind of jury can they put together (or buy) stupid (crooked) enough to believe this. If this works, maybe we all need to get in the crook business.
